Most were part the elites associated with the previous regime and they rightfully felt in danger. The fact is, there are synagogues in Iran and there are Jews that practice their religion in those synagogues. And, there are churches in Iran and Christians practice their religion in those churches. That's just a fact. Try to find a synagogue or church in Saudi Arabia.
