Well, Sparks, you'll have to point out in which specific school this actually happens in a vacuum (it doesn't). Where the child gets "diagnosed" by someone....in a school.
Those kind of changes aren't done without a bevy of consulting from doctors, psychologists, parents..and yes, perhaps the school professionals have input. But one doesn't go from counseling in school to the operating table.
Nobody has a right to go through life without being offended. So long as you’re not being actively harmed by what the other party is doing, they’re free to do it.
