I came across this doing rearch for a brief. I found it exteremly and intriguing. If you ever wondered where the left gets their gun control ideas from, here you go. Just wanted to share.

Hitler was a Leftist
Nazi Gun Control
Nazi Weapons Act of 1938 (Translated to English)

-Classified guns for "sporting purposes".

-All citizens who wished to purchase firearms had to register with the Nazi officials and have a background check.

-Presumed German citizens were hostile and thereby exempted Nazis from the gun control law.

-Gave Nazis unrestricted power to decide what kinds of firearms could, or could not be owned by private persons.

-The types of ammunition that were legal were subject to control by bureaucrats.

-Juveniles under 18 years could not buy firearms and ammunition.

I'm also pissed that the government has certain weapons classified as 'military' grade and thus outlaws private ownership in every form. The Thompson submachine gun hasn't seen widespread use in 50 years, yet you still can't own one since it has a full auto setting. The second ammendment was not designed to allow hunting and collecting. It was designed to equip the everyday citizen with the means to overthrow his government. Besides, when middle school students can get a hold of AK-47s, the law against owning them apparantly isn't working.

Ive argued this for years. Nazi Germany and Totalitarianism in general is the same as Socialism. You have everything run by 1 person (same as the state). All laws are for the good of the state. All property is owned by the controling party (or the state). All guns are restricted.

Totalitarianism has been pushed off as "Far Right" when it is quite the opposite. Far Right is Anarchy. No government. No Laws. No rule. Far left is "Total Government." All production is for the state. All money goes to the state. All property is owned by the state. All thought is controlled by the state.

Yet another rewriting of history by leftists to distance Nazis and dictators from their communist utopias.

At many gun shows, you can go buy a semi-automatic AK-47, and a few tables down, buy a "modification kit" which lets you turn it into a fully automatic AK-47.

This also requires a Class 3 stamp. You can own fully automatic weapons with this stamp. The problem is this stamp also allows the ATF to disregard the 4th Amendment and enter your home at anytime. A little reseach shows that our current "gun laws" are extremely similiar too those of NAZI Germany.

The ATF is too much like the Gestapo for my liking.

So I guess this isn't about the alcohol or the tobacco.

Anyway, yeah, the government needs to go back to taking the second ammendment as seriously as they do the first. If they had as many speech laws as they do gun laws, independant bloggers would have been out of business long ago for failure to carry a dangerous speech permit.
