Well, lessening regulations is job friendly at least short term. But, imo, presidents are pretty much at the mercy of factors beyond their control. Trump inherited a growing economy (albeit weakly) and declining deficits (albeit temporarily). Sometimes its better to be lucky than good.

Of course on the other hand, his expansionist fiscal policy and expected added spending with debt dollars has already seen one rate hike rise, and another is coming. So, he could fuk it up.
