Inspectors General Refuse Trumps Illegal Firing Order

The cost isn't really the point though, is it? The point is trump illegally removing an impediment to his corruption.
Meh. All this corruption abound and im supposed to feel sorry for them? Or think their is some sort of ill intent? lol

Well, no. This is what happens when enough voters ignore the Jan. 6 insurrection to elect an authoritarian leader because the recovery from COVID caused global inflation.
Poor Stalinberg.
Your Insurrection talking point has EXPIRED.
Trump is The Executive.
The BOSS.
You and those useless IG's are FIRED!!!!!!!!!
GTFOH
STFU
GFY
:dev3:

The sad fact is so many Trump supporters are fine with doing away with the IGs office because of the false belief that the IGs office does nothing and is a waste of money.

The evidence shows that the IG's office more than pays for itself in recovery and saving for the American people. The IG program is one that "conservatives" should rally around.

It is important to remember that the $7.13 billion that the IGs office is recovering is from only one department.
They're political hacks who cover up for the establishment scum sending the Federal Marshals to remove them 👍🏼

The 30 day notice? They just got it.

Buh-bye.

Exactly. I don't have a problem with cutting these fired inspector generals checks for a month severance pay.

That's what their employment contract guarantees them, not continued employment indefinitely.

Try to focus. I know it's hard. The removal of the IG's is illegal. There is a provision put in place by Congress in 2022 to protect IG's from exactly the kind of politically motivated firings trump just made.

What confuses you about that so far?

Which if true, which it isn't, you were perfectly fine with politically motivated legal cases against Trump, what changed?

.

The Office of the Inspector General was established in 1976 under the Department of Health and Human Services.
The Department of Health and Human Services falls under the Executive Branch.
The President of the United States controls the Executive.

Simply put ... President Trump doesn't have to accommodate nor tolerate their refusal.
As many have already mentioned ... He can just fire them ...

.
Oh! That means they serve at the whim of the president.
I don't think he whims them to do very much right now.
