One woman’s bizarre claim about a Scholastic book featuring a single kiss is part of a coordinated assault on US free speech

Burkhardt may have been happy to share intimate details about her life with school district officials but one thing she wasn’t so keen on sharing? Her current employment. The Houston Press reports that, according to her now deleted LinkedIn page, Burkhardt is a public relations coordinator at a rightwing Christian publisher called Brave Books. And Brave Books happens to be linked to SkyTree Book Fairs, which is a Scholastic competitor. It seems highly likely that Burkhardt’s bizarre sob story was largely fiction (she was, it turns out, homeschooled and wouldn’t have been at a Scholastic book fair without a parental chaperone), a stunt designed to get Scholastic book fairs shut down.

What it soesnt look like is a grassroots movement to protect the kids from inappropriate material. It looks what it is. An attempt to stop freedom of expression and make a few bucks on the side.
Its a part of a wider GO{/christofascist attempt to erase Gay people from society. In short its fascism.

These people are certifiably insane.

And total hypocrites of course.

She totally needed Justin to kiss her not some other boy. She shipped Justin. She spent hours working on the fanfiction story of her and Justin and then had her life ruined, just ruined by him not liking her. I mean if he didn't like her, then no other fictional boy would like her, let alone a real one, so she had no choice but to build and hide in a porn bubble. Damn that publisher for ruining her life by creating a character that appealed to her cousin who was the only guy in his dance class instead of her!!!!
