We are all trending down. Poverty has no place to hide in a big city. Out in the country the stigma of poverty and addiction is so great that people live lives of quiet desperation on the government dole and you don't see it unless you look for it.

I've lived in the big city and the country and both have their downsides. I prefer to live way out from civilization in a Florida swamp but I am under no illusion that it's somehow better, it just works for me. We have all the same problems it's just easier to see in the city.

Cryin' Chuckie and Crazy Nancy are insisting on a trillion or so dollars to bail out liberal shithole cities and states from the economic consequences of failed management that has nothing whatsoever to do with the COVID-19 pandemic. They also are too rigid to agree to a stopgap, short term relief extension to allow time for further negotiation of a longer term solution.

In keeping with the liberal tactic of accusing others of what you are doing, they have truly adopted the stance that "it's our way or the highway" and saying it's the Republicans doing the same. They do not really give a damn about the people being hurt by their obstruction. They take glee in the thought that it might garner them a few votes in November.

The cost of living here is much smaller than DNC run shit holes............why anyone would want to live in places that have apartments for rent the size of my shed for 2k is beyond me.
