Not sure how many hops away from the other thread I saw it, but I saw a picture of bodies being buried in a mass grave on the Panama side of the Darién Gap. Those were the bodies of those who miraculously made it close enough to the other side, for their bodies to be recovered. It makes you wonder how many bodies there are within the Gap, never to be recovered, never even to be accounted for, of those who didn't make it that far.
