Steven A. Smith ran his mouth. In Magnum Force, Clint Eastwood told Hal Holbrook that a man must know his limitations. Steven A should have listened. He's good on sports, but he needs to leave politics alone. Here is a history lesson for all you Republicans who want to tell blacks about how we are on a plantation because most of us vote for Democrats.

Anyone voting for Republicans is a dumb idea.
Very true. I posted this because if I had a dollar for every MAGAT who told me how blacks are on a plantation, or obeying some fictional Democrat master, or being led to believe things by white liberal Democrats, Elon Musk would be bowing money from me.

Wake up and smell the roses Grandpap............

WASHINGTON (TNND) — The Democratic Party has begun to lose support among Black voters as a newer, younger electorate is more open to the GOP, according to an analysis of polling data.

Recent data shows that Democrats are losing the strong support from Black voters they had in Barack Obama's 2008 win, and going back to John F. Kennedy's 1960 presidential run, Axios reported.

The number of Black adults identifying as or leaning Democratic dropped from 77% in 2020 to 66% in 2023. Meanwhile, 12% to 17% of Black adults identify as or lean Republican, according to a 2025 Gallup poll.

Also last year, President Donald Trump received a 22% job approval rating from Black adults, up from 13% during his first term in 2017, per Gallup.

White House spokesperson Allison Schuster told Axios that Trump has supported Black Americans by providing long-term funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, expanding school choice, and signing historic criminal justice reform.

"The numbers we're seeing now are higher than they were eight years ago — but Black voters were a different kind of voter coming out of the Obama presidency," Johnson said.

"When you detach partisan identity from racial identity, you get more Black voters willing to take a chance on a Republican," he added. "That's not a realignment. It's more political free agents."

The saddest thing I see are the black guys who bought the racist meme as young men, now taking their aluminum cans to recycling with a makeshift wagon attached to a bicycle. That's what dependence on the white liberal plantation has done to them.

Where I live, the wagon and bike were both stolen.

Is that why 85 percent of Black voters voted for Harris?

Look at all your numbers. They are low. Biden invested 16 billion in HBCUS. Trump tried zeroing out HBCU funding, an it took pressure from members of the CBC to stop that during Trumps first term. Do not post comments from people working in the Trump white house and using Fox News as a source. The Trump administration has implemented a blatant white identity agenda, so it is time whites like you stop telling others that identity politics is wrong when that is exactly what you guys are doing.

Blacks are not going to vote for the Republican Party which so unequivocally HATES them.

Just look how hard the GOP is working to eliminate black Congressmen's seats as we speak.

C'mon g5000, Democrats owned slaves in the 1860s, so although nobody white today ever owned a slave, we are supposed to vote Republican because Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation.

We are supposed to ignore that a Democrat signed our second EP when Johnson signed the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts. After all, by percentage, more Republicans vote for them than Democrats. The actual number of votes by people doesn't matter since more Democrats voted for both.

I can keep going, because this is the type of junk these guys keep trying to argue over an over. They have to know this tactic is BS, but these racists really do think we ae stupid.

Your problem is affirmative action. Blacks who've had the opportunity for a higher education are more aware than their undereducated predecessors were and have been becoming more aware of the shortcomings of the democrats and how they used them with lies and falsehoods to get their votes.

Why do whites like you say such things? What you believe AA is what white people have been getting since this country began.

Democrats have not used us. That's another racist claim whites have been making since 1964.

“Left Behind:” Why Black Voters Are Disillusioned with the Democratic Party

Left Out.

That is the Republican plan for us.

I don't need some racist white right-wing extremist Republican partisan hack telling me about the political parties. I know which one is what.

So STFU

Don’t bet on it. I live in one of the wealthiest and most ‘educated’ black locales in the country and they are harder-core democrat than ever. University and especially HBCU indoctrination makes sure that remains so.
