I don’t see Democrats calling for $47M to be cut for “Learning OutComes in Asia”. Everytime spending cuts are presented, somehow it’s all tied to healthcare and infrastructure.

When you say that a Bezos, Musk, Trump, or anyone else that invests a business in the USA “does not pay taxes”, you completely ignore the fact they have earned tax credits through hiring and creating jobs. Don’t blame them, blame the US Tax Code. Don’t like it, get it changed.

That's an interesting link, but I'm not sure you tracked that it said we may not (and we don't know yet based on the evidence cited) be seeing inflation because consumer confidence/demand has fallen dramatically, so workers who spend all their wages - typically - may be holding onto money.

That could be good ... if the fed cuts rates more than twice to stimulate the economy (and maybe take down house mortgages) ... or bad... if we have a recession.
