1.5% ?? :auiqs.jpg:

The current U.S. inflation rate is 2.8% for the 12-month period ending in February 2025, down slightly from the 3.0% reported last month. The consumer price index (CPI), which measures changes in prices, increased 0.2%, according to the latest release from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

Inflation rate 2.82% for Feb 2025

The current annual inflation rate is 3%, still stubbornly above the Fed’s 2% target.

The Fed's in a pickle right now, with growth in trouble and rates still too high.

We've come to depend on the Fed to bail us out so much that there really isn't a Plan B.

We could still come out okay. We'll see.

Chickens don't vote - dummy - now stop watching kiddo cartoons.

Krisco is MAD. Poor non-specific gender person, ah!

Promises made. Promises kept.
Inflation tends to decrease when the economy slows. Especially when it has a recessionary contraction as some economists are predicting.

Ah, let the excuses begin for Idiot Biden's incompetence.

Lower the interest rates, cut spending, cut taxes. Watch what happens.

Cool
We are under the Biden economy.

The Trump administration’s repeated public denial of basic economics isn’t the only way the White House is trying to spin the president’s trade war. During Wednesday’s briefing, Leavitt again deflected blame over the economy on former President Joe Biden. But the facts tell a different story: Trump inherited a historically strong economy.

The orange crusader is doing it again!!! He is something else!
In the end, the Fiscal Responsibility Act was passed, which suspended the debt ceiling until January 1, 2025. Again, this brinkmanship was not without consequences, as the U.S. credit rating was again downgraded and borrowing rates on government debt increased.Jan 17, 2025

Debt Ceiling Explainer | House Budget Committee Democrats

It won't happen under Trump that is fer sure.
Higher likelihood under Trump. Democrats hate spending cuts and their “tax the wealthy” plans always involve the Middle Class paying more.

Democrats don't hate "spending cuts", but not when it comes to health care for the poor and elderly to fund the $8 million per day that Elon Musk is getting to blow up rockets, and implant computer chips in people's brains. Or tax breaks for Bezos to build another flying dick.

These guys aren't paying taxes at all.
