What I don’t understand is that when eggs went to 50 cents a piece and bacon was $8 a lb my local breakfast spot raised the price of the Breakfast Special from $5 to $10. I understood why they had to do it.

But eggs are now 15 cents each and bacon is $4 but they still charge $10 for the Breakfast Special.

yea but +0.2% Mom, you have to understand in the yearly data they have some higher readings from last year so the YoY is not accurate as to what is happening now.

For the past 5 months inflation has been at 2%, which is great and perfect and the FED's target, which also means they can cut rates, like they did in 2019.
