The price of everything at least doubled and some tripled but the Fed has inflation "under control"? How fucking stupid and gullible do people have to be to believe this?

Inflation doesn't have to affect everyone, just those that pay the increased prices. And, there are always bargains to be had during most economic circumstances.

I just bought a 'new' car, a cherry 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis LS, for $7000. Inflated new car prices never affect me as I stopped buying them years ago.

That’s not true.
Increasing the money supply (sometimes inaccurately called “printing money”) means that the Fed lends the US government or select banks money it essentially creates out of thin air.

Those are loans and once paid back that money goes poof… back to thin air.

Otherwise there would be unimaginable hyper inflation on the order of hundreds of per cent
