Indictment dismissed with prejudice for Cliven Bundy Ammon Bundy Ryan Bundy and Ryan Paine

The Bundys are not victims. They were using land that didn't belong to them and were refusing to pay for it. The government let this go on for 20 years, so I'd say they got quite a break.

Nope, they had grazing rights that went back decades. The feds come in and say "this is our land PAY us because your cows ate our grass". Bundy tried to pay his alleged "grazing fees" to the county in which he resided and they refused it because it wasn't under their alleged "jurisdiction".

You are confused Moon Bat.

The real story was that he lived and ranched their for many years without issue, then; the BLM, who owns most of the land in the entire Western half of the country, and won’t sell any started demanding outrageous fees to use “their” land, targeted specifically at the area Bundy had been using, fees so deliberately high that they would have driven Bundy out of business and took away his livelihood, and, ultimately, off of his land.

Normally, grazing your cattle on the BLM’s land (which you have to do in that area because there is no way to simply buy the land), as Bundy was doing, is free or very low cost, as had been the case for decades previously, but that area was singled out for a massive increase. Allegedly it was for some envirowacko “save the turtles” bullshit, human welfare or livelihood be damned, but in reality it was intended to force the ranchers in the area to leave. Why? Water rights. No ranchers, no water rights, and those rights could be given to someone else. Who? Harry Reid.

The whole fucking thing was a deliberate abuse of power on the direct orders/influence of Harry Reid so he could get the water rights for his son who was doing development work in Las Vegas.

Correct, meaning it wasn't their land, hence, those rights can be altered or revoked at any time.

You exposed your stupidity about the Bundy Ranch and Oregon stand-off.....but you are a leftard so that is "par for the course".

Oh no - I am quite familiar with the lawless bastards and their cost and damage caused all on US taxpayers.

I wouldn’t call it a break exactly when they were demanding arrears.

And this had much more than just stopping their grazing involved. It was obvious why they wanted it stopped.

"
U.S. District Court Judge Gloria Navarro declared a mistrial in the case last month, saying federal prosecutors willfully withheld evidence that lawyers for the Bundys and alleged co-conspirator Ryan Payne should have had access to while mounting their defense.

She said the attorneys were in violation of the Brady rule, which requires prosecutors to disclose evidence that could be favorable to a defendant, and told them it wasn't possible to proceed with the case.

On Monday, she dismissed the case "with prejudice," meaning the government cannot retry the defendants. "The court finds that the universal sense of justice has been violated," Navarro said."

Prosecutors doing what prosecutors do.

I hear this soooooooo often. It will continue until prosecutors start seeing jail time for, essentially, lying to the court.

Conspiracy theory
Er..no. And the judge confirmed that in her statements.

The reason it was dismissed is that the blm agents and the prosecutors LIED about the fact that the BLM did in fact set up snipers around the Bundy residence before the standoff ever occurred. The Bundys said the reason they stood was because they were being threatened, and their evidence of a threat was that the snipers were positioned around their home. The prosecutors and the blm agents all lied in court about it.

And then the judge found out they were all lying..and not only that, they were hiding evidence they had in their possession that proved they were lying. And not just about that.

Hence the dismissal. The whole *conspiracy* turns out to have been an accurate description of what happened.

Only a liberal huff post would have a problem with 3.3 million dollars , but not the 30 million dollars spent when the Indians protestinh the pipe line

Pressure mounts on Obama to end Dakota pipeline standoff

Another issue for the state is the cost of policing the protests, which is up to more than $11.8 million, state Emergency Services spokeswoman Cecily Fong said Wednesday. The department will seek another $7 million in emergency borrowing on Nov. 30 on top of the $10 million borrowed earlier this year, Fong said. Morton County also has spent more than $8 million

You are really confused about this aren't you Moon Bat?

It was a fact that the filthy ass government all of a sudden had an interest in the water that Bundy was using and that Reid's son was working a deal that needed the water. Not conspiracy but fact..

Are you also familiar with the damage the sanctuary cites are doing to America by resisting the Federal immigration laws?

The rights that ranchers and miners have go back a hundred years and more. They were granted resource rights IN PERPETUITY just like the Indians were on their lands. That was the deal the government struck in order to gain access/management of those lands.

The Bundys maintained, and still maintain, that the BLM has no authority to either collect nor to change the terms of the land use agreements...and they are right.

The Bundys maintained, and still maintain, the BLM has no authority to seize property, to damage property, to block access to water, or to set up surveillance around the homes of ranchers...with SNIPERS.

Everything the Bundys said happened..actually happened. That is why the case is dismissed WITH PREJUDICE. That means they can never be tried again for this bullshit, because the judge acknowledges the feds were wholly in the wrong, from beginning to end.

I think there will be a few feds put in prison over this. An fbi agent is being tried in Oregon now for lying and obstructing justice when he fired on the vehicle that Finicum was in.....and then lied about it and tried to cover it up.

The press doesn't like to cover it, because to cover it now is to admit they were complicit in the whole mess from the beginning...which we all know they definitely were.

It's about uranium too.

But mostly it's about batshit crazy federal agents plopped down in the middle of rural communities, and how they systematically and criminally persecute the people who live there.

Cliven Bundy walks free as federal judge dismisses Bundy Ranch standoff case

A federal investigator alleged in a Nov. 27 memo to the assistant U.S. attorney general that prosecutors in the Bundy ranch standoff trial covered up misconduct by law-enforcement agents who engaged in "likely policy, ethical and legal violations."

In an 18-page memo, Special Agent Larry Wooten said he "routinely observed ... a widespread pattern of bad judgment, lack of discipline, incredible bias, unprofessionalism and misconduct" among agents involved in the 2014 standoff.

He said his investigation indicated federal agents used excessive force and committed civil-rights and policy violations.

Nobody who ever walks into a usfs or blm office, or who has had any interaction with the skanks they send as *firepower* to the rural areas, has any doubt about their criminality. It is undeniable. They're proud of it.
