I voted for Trump three times and don't regret it. Even though I think she SUCKS and is a puppet and a liar, and this speech was a very poor choice for Independence Day, taken at face value I totally agree with what she said. I know she doesn't really care and it's politically motivated. Still, the genocide of native Americans and the taking of their land and their world coupled with the period of slavery in the America is a true stain on America's past that I don't take lightly. There were certain European groups who came here who co-existed with the NA's and began to set up a mutually beneficial economy. It's was when the British/Scots-Irish Americans began to justify their "Manifest Destiny" that the NA's freedom and dignity became a joke.
I would like to see what America could in have been if the NA's had been included more as partners in the growth of this nation. And southern slavery? Forget it. Africans should have been left in Africa, and admitted to society willingly WHEN they were ready both culturally and technologically. The ones who were brought here were often already the rejects within their respective African tribes, and literally sold or traded by their own people. None of it was right on both the supply side and the demand side. If you research a bit, most American slave owners were of British and Scots-Irish decent, and we're the same folks who went around forcibly stealing territory from, dominating and enslaving indigenous cultures around the world. I say after 1812.we should have built our Navy up larger than Britain's, and then proceeded to kick the living snot out of them and make them a liberated American satellite state with the same freedoms that Americans have. In other words we should have completely overthrown the British aristocracy in their own country.
