Massive recall of eggs for salmonella and its the winter when eggs are laid less due to a shortage of sunlight.

Commercial eggs are largely produced indoors under artifical light, in order to prevent this. So unless a person is buying free range, all natural; this does not apply. That would include Wal-Marts Great Value brand eggs...

No. It may be the price using the digital coupon though. It is kind of like the Lay Potato Chips, often at $4.00 Plus, but with the digital coupon as low as a buck eighty five, and that is definitely not buying first one at full price.
Do you have ability to download digital coupons from Kroger? I would sign up for the Kroger digital coupons and try it. Good luck.

The coupon you posted the picture of says $2.49 when you buy one, use up to 5 times per transaction.

I take that as saying buy one for full price and get up to 5 more at $2.49.

Yes but I don't shop there, way too pricey. The whole business of having to me a "member" to shop at a grocery store, and then put their spy app on your phone to get the real price on something is enough to keep me away.

I have a Coscto membership because that's where I buy my coffee and half and half, and I do that once a month. My weekly shopping runs I usually go to Walmart.

Avian flu is the biggest part of the price, it's sad. They're cleaning up hundreds and hundreds of deal wild geese and ducks in our area.

Best price for eggs here in Tulsa is at the Target, a dozen for 3.99. Walmart is close but you have to buy 60, for 21 bucks. Back in Burbank it's 7.99 for the El Cheapo eggs at Ralph's, 8.99 if you want the good ones, 9.19 if you want the extra large.

A lot depends on the brand. Walmart sells their Great Value brand and that's the cheapest brand they sell. That's what i USED to buy. But no more. I now use bananas or beans.

Why dont you try plantains, they are better for you than bannanas

It’s cheaper to go to Chikfilet for breakfast - an egg & cheese on a biscuit and a senior (free) cup of coffee for $2.75, including tax. Plus, it’s a mile walk back and forth and great exercise.

I haven’t bought eggs in months.
