If the tariffs are creating communism, then the companies coming in would also be under strict control with high regulations. The opposite is happening as Trump has reduced the high government controlling regulation by two-thirds. Controlling the economy doesn't create communism or fascism. Controlling the means of production by high regulations and taxations does that. If the people feel higher prices because of tariffs, that has nothing to do with Trump being a communist or fascist.
