In Less Than a Year, Some 2.1 Million Fewer Illegals in the USA

Maybe for you, because you are losing illegal aliens to exploit

But those of us that haven’t been doing that, and living large compared to the past four years
I hate to take Joe's side but he's right.

Here (OK, so technically I live in Canada, not the States, but I think these two countries are comparable), the economy is really bad. I've been sending out tons of resumes and have gotten no calls. I finally managed to find a job today but it's a temporary gig and the pay is minimum wage. Shit really sucks here.

Canada is shit I’ll give you that, you’ve been a massive housing crisis for years now.

Things are much better overall here

No, the economy really does suck right now.

Good thing the government shutdown delayed what was going to be a dismal unemployment report for September.

Between 'self deportation' and formal removals.

That is roughly 2.1 million since January 21, 2025, not a full 9 months of work.

Oh, and this isn't the phony Obama counting of people turned back at the border as removals.

...
According to DHS data, roughly 493,000 individuals have been formally deported since the start of President Trump’s second term, while another 1.6 million have left voluntarily, a process the agency classifies as “self-deportation.”
...

How many will be deported or have self deported by the end of his third term?

😁

The UE rate hasn’t changed much at all since Trump was elected

...so the Fed got burned believing the bullshit jobs numbers put out by the BLS. Saying a million jobs were created, when it was really only 22,000. We can expect two more cuts this year, which should help create more jobs.
There are 400,000 manufacturing jobs open, but no takers?? (according to the Mfg guy this morning.)
He expects 2,000,000 open jobs by 2033.

So much winning. Trump lied when he said I'd get tired of all the winning. So far it's just not happening.
The economy is strong peace in Israel, closed border Trump won every SC case, massive cuts in government waste, democrats in a state of confusion hate and violence. Thats winning in my book

Okay, well, here's the problem with that. Besides no one really wanting to do repetitive work in a factory, the other part of the problem is that companies don't want to train people to do these jobs.

When a company says, "Entry Level", they really mean ten years of experience.

But we can tell when things are going bad when you ******* Bleach-Drinkers try to find ANYONE else to blame except for the Orange Bag of Feces you put in the White House, knowing how badly he fucked things up the last time he was there.

The Definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result.

MAGA is insane.

The jobs market is steady the economy is strong 3.8% GDP inflation slowing DOW at record highs.

Companies don't want to train people, and the reason is literally because they do not want to invest in Americans. This is hardly Trump's fault.

Well the stock market is not an accurate gauge of how strong the economy is. Stock markets are where billionaire institutional holders get together and have fun.

Are you getting tired of all the winning yet?

Working class pensions are invested there and you dont mention the 3.8% GDP. In many ways this is still the Biden economy. It will tae year to dig us out of the hole he put us in but so far we are much better off

Trump’s economy was doing great pre-COVID. The US recovered more quickly and suffered less financial damage than most if not all other counties in the world in large part due to the strong economic situation headed into COVID.

Again, that's great for the rich, but not so much for the working class.

How does a good GDP not help the working class? The working class has money in the markets as well. A rising market helps them too.
