In Leftist Land, a Lie is as good as gold

It's why they lie about Trump's supposed lies. They never say what the lie is, but that that is all he does. The throw it out there and let it hit the airwaves philosophy.

Trump has made over 1900 false claims

Why Narcissists And Gaslighters Blatantly Lie -- And Get Away With It

In a tweet, Donald Trump wrote, “I never called Meghan Markle ‘nasty’. [sic] Made up by the Fake News Media…” He then goes on to ask if CNN and The New York Times will apologize to him. However, there are audio recordings by the Sun showing that he did, in fact, refer to Markle as "nasty." Trump's lying should come as a surprise to no one at this point.
This is why you and the left are liars.

He says, "I never called Markle 'nasty'. then you spout the Sun saying, he referred to her as 'nasty'. This is a twisting of context, but more importantly, he was responding to the assertion that the interviewer made that she acted nasty. His response was, "I didn't know she acted nasty". It goes on from there, with careful parsing of words to get the desired amount of outrage.

Try again.

After first denying he made the comment, President Trump now says his remark describing Meghan Markle as “nasty” was taken out of context, telling Piers Morganinstead that he thinks the Duchess of Sussex is actually “very nice.”

Trump called Markle “nasty” in an interview with British tabloid The Sun ahead of his three-day state visit to the U.K., which began Monday. He subsequently tried to deny making the remark, but a recording of the conversation proved otherwise.

On Wednesday, Trump addressed the furor during an exclusive TV interview with former newspaper editor and CNN presenter Morgan on ITV’s breakfast show, “Good Morning Britain.” He said he made the comments after being told that Markle had previously said she would move to Canada if he was elected.

Who do you believe, President Trump or your own ears? When a British interviewer told Trump about Meghan Markle's past criticism of him, Trump said "I didn't know she was nasty." After being criticized for it, Trump denied calling her "nasty" at all.

No I didn't know she was nasty was his exact quote. Not a big deal so why did he lie?

He has said crude things in the past. Did you mind then? Then you wouldn't care even if he did call her nasty. And just add this to the list of stupid unpresidential things the orange clown has said.

When he gets caught he says,

I didn't care to begin. This is NOT the first time that the media has attempted to twist something a Republican has said to generate more disgust or hatred for the party or the particular individual. The left has said vile and crude things about Republican women. Did you care then?

The list of lies and misinformation from the left, from the mouthpiece of the Democrats, is as endless as the alleged list against Trump.

The only difference is the media is doing it to manipulate the upcoming election.
isn't it ironic how they all got bent out of shape with the video of Pelosi, but don't have an issue with this. Dude, it's who they are, not a fking honest bone in their frames.

It's all about getting power back stupid.

Great post, but you're missing the most crucial point. What we're dealing with on the American Left these days, what has taken over the modern Democratic Party, is postmodernism, a direct derivative of Marxism and the Hegelian Dialectic. Right, so get this. See, postmodernists believe that every aspect imaginable of the human condition is a social construct, meaning it (anything) can be simply re-defined to suit their philosophy, ethos or way of life. What that means, my friend is that even TRUTH is relative, even TRUTH is a social construct and that no TRUTH whatsoever is absolutely true all of the time. Personally, I don't think most of the junior, wannabe postmodernists haunting this discussion board realize or understand their subscription to the "mother" philosophies of postmodernism, rather they just parrot MSM and social sciences talking points. But gee whiz, folks. If there can be no absolute truth . . . how the fuck can you expect to run a civilization on series of fluctuating realities?

It's gonna suck for you when we win this next election. At least you'll have the turtle to protect you

Ecpnomy is cruising and you have 23 freaks running in the clown car.

The Ecpnomy was doing fine before Trump and Trump's tax breaks to the rich will eventually come home to roost and guess who's going to have to pay? You stupid. Maybe they'll cut your social security in half. Maybe they'll raise your taxes. Maybe both.

But yes, the ecpnomy is doing great for me. It has since been since 2015 which was before Trump won.

Are you really doing that much better today than you were in 2015? I am actually I'm just wondering about you.

UE at 50 year lows. Yes, the economy and unemployment is doing great. I wouldn't wonder about me. I don't worry about you. Im doing fine. Im not depending on SS and dems will raise taxes when they're back in power but I'll let my acct find the legal gray areas to keep the govt from taking any extra.
want to see how dems do taxes, look at what the dems in Illinois just passed. they want your money!!!!!!!

What's funny, is the governor evaded paying his property taxes. again, they are only after our money, not their own. Look up J.B. Pritzker.

Illinois Gov. Pritzker’s property taxes under federal investigation, report says

It's who they fking are, evil people, cut off your head and shit down your neck right after taking your wallet.

You do know Bush's tax breaks to the rich and corporations shifted the tax burden from the rich to you right? And the same thing will happen from Trump's tax breaks to the rich and corporations.

This isn't our first rodeo.

Back in 2005: Bush administration claims that the guiding principle for its fiscal policy has been “lower income taxes for all. The reality is starkly different. The tax cuts enacted during George W. Bush’s presidency shift the burden of taxation away from upper-income, capital-owning households and toward the wage-earning households of the lower and middle classes. Shifting costs to future generations of workers.

The Bush administration presided over two major tax cuts, in 2001 and 2003, along with a smaller one in 2002.

Conventional estimates suggest that the deficits associated with the Bush tax cuts could eventually raise long-term interest rates by between 0.5 percent and 1.5 percent, which would raise the annual payment on a $150,000 mortgage by between $500 and $2,000.

Paying for the full tax cuts in 2014 by reducing government spending would be catastrophic, both substantively and politically: It would require a 48-percent cut in Social Security benefits, complete elimination of the federal part of Medicaid

Cuts to your social security???

We also could have averted the coming crisis in Social Security. Over the next 75 years, the tax cuts will cost about three times the projected 75-year actuarial deficit in Social Security. As a result, even if we had not enacted only the most regressive components of the tax cuts, we would have had more than enough revenue to eliminate the entire Social Security deficit for the next 75 years.

The president likes to portray his tax cuts as painless and simply “giving people their money back.” Tens of millions of people, however, gain little from the tax cuts — and will eventually be hurt by the costs imposed on the budget and the economy.

For now, too many policy-makers are pretending that the tax cuts represent that ever-elusive free lunch. The reality is that the bill from the tax cuts will come due one way or another. And almost any way it plays out — other than simply repealing the tax cuts or allowing them to expire as officially scheduled — the vast majority of Americans will pay.

I forgot the latest big lie, Jussie Smollett Hoax and all that backed the lie.

I forgot the latest big lie, Jussie Smollett Hoax and all that backed the lie.
Jussie proves that rich people are above the law. Don't you want to change all that? If you are a Republican you don't. They love the status quo where their kids get into schools they shouldn't get into and they can get out of things we can't because they have better lawyers. And they get jobs because of connections too.

Don't cry about Jussie if you are a Republican. Money rules in the GOP. He who has it gets away with murder. OJ anyone?

My theory is that it's entirely possible that hardcore partisan ideologues often don't even realize they are being intellectually dishonest.

Read a book on the subconscious. A symptom of this affliction is the ability to instantly talk yourself into actually believing whatever you are predisposed to believing, or what your ideology instructs you to believe, regardless of how farfetched or bizarre it may be.

As a part of this instant process, the afflicted (1) avoids, ignores, dismisses and/or diminishes all information and data that is contrary to their predisposed position, and (2) isolates and inflates that information and data that supports their position and their ideology. So it's a form of confirmation bias on subconscious steroids.

To a person who is not afflicted with the same ideology, that behavior seems like a lie. But if a person doesn't even consciously realize they are doing it, is that a lie, or just a symptom?
.
Yes, even if a person doesn't realize they are doing it, it is still a lie. Facts don't change; insistent belief in a lie is a symptom of severe mental illness, but it doesn't change the truth.

Mexico still paying for the wall is she?

This is why Republicans on USMB hate when I dig up old threads. They literally get mad when I dig up their words to use against them. To show them that when Bush was in office they loved illegal immigrants and cheap shit from China. Republicans have flip flopped on a lot of things in recent years.
How can you be so mean!?

No, when he does it, it is called altering reality. Being president, he has that power.

He most certainly does not.

Winning elections is so important to fuckers like you that you're willing to destroy the country you're living in to bring Socialism, and in the process kill off a bunch of old white people with more God-Damned sense than you'll ever have.

You sound completely deranged. And you are proving sealy's point.

The truth when comes to Democrats is pretty deranged. It's the slow creep of Socialism. Eventually they can make any inhuman policy sound like a necessity.

I truly don't care one iota about what he said. I believe he behaves like a tacky, vulgar prick and talks like a complete moron. He's been this way for decades. Nothing has changed. The lies are simply insult to injury.

You don't even understand the meaning of the word. America is nowhere near having a socialistic government. It won't become one if a Democrat is elected in 2020. I'm so tired of the made up, non stop hyperbolic fear mongering from Cult45. Deranged absolutely fits. Plus, I can't stop laughing at your scared nonsense. :21:

A lie allows emotional comfort to be achieved.

Let’s break down some history
1930s and 40’s were about survival. War, depression, plains devastation.

1950s began baby boomers and post war greatest generation settled into peace and beginning of prosperity although putting a meal on the table and roof over your head was still an achievement to accomplish. No where was there emphasis on comfort.

Baby boomers took what greatest generation started and made it very prosperous for those willing to work for it

Millennials come along and there is no real struggles anymore so they focus on achieving great personal comfort and expect society to provide and reciprocate.

It is ignorance like yours that should worry anyone armed with the knowledge that I have. You really are a stupid fuck. HJR-192? Senate Document 43, 73rd Congress 1st Session???? "The ultimate ownership of all property is in the State; individual so-called “ownership” is only by virtue of Government, i.e. law, amounting to mere user; and use must be in accordance with law, and subordinate to the necessities of the State"

We have been fed small doses of socialism for nearly 100 years to the point that ignorant little fucks like yourself can't see the forest from the trees, dipshiit.

I'm not sure I agree with that.

A lie is knowingly telling a falsehood. Saying something you know not to be true. My point is that if a person is deluded, they may be convincing themselves in real time that what they are saying is true. That's not a lie, really. If you really think what you're saying is true, you're not lying.

I'm serious about that. Now, personally, I think someone who is deluded is significantly more dangerous than someone who is just lying.

If a person truly, honestly thinks that they're sitting in a room with Abraham Lincoln and they tell you so, that's not lying.
