Trump Team Performed a Masterclass in Obliterating This Narrative About the Deported Illegal Alien

I guess.

Doesn't make it right or a good idea.

So your argument is that we should deport a family man to a gulag because Trump can't just admit his people made a mistake.

Happy Easter, man, Jesus would be proud.
Illegal entry, association with a named terrorist group, displaying related symbology, lack of gainful employment, demonstrated propensity for violence, other criminal interactions with LE, two prior hearings.........

State Department sayz...............You gotta go back

Uh, the only reason why the system is "Slow-rolling" right now is because the first time Trump stained the White House with is leaky diapers, he and Stephen Miller dismantled a lot of the aparatus for hearing these cases.

Are some people abusing the laws? Probably. If we dedicated enough people to review the cases objectively, I suspect that half the people who've claimed asylum would be found to have made dubious claims.

But the other half had legitimate claims. This particular individual definitely did.
It’s probably less than half but the bottom line is that they deserve a hearing. And for the most part they are waiting for those hearings fs faithfully.

And those that lose those hearings are deported.

The system works… and with more courts and more judges it works better.

Of course at the point where it works really well we have to figure out how to replace those workers

That’s when we realize that this has all been a cynical charade

Without a hearing how do we know the subject is actually a terrorist?
The Alien Enemies Act says that in times of war or during an “invasion or predatory incursion … by any foreign nation or government,” the president can apprehend, restrain, secure and remove any immigrants who came from the enemy country.

Wow, guy, you can't lie about this one.

He was arrested 6 years ago. No one believed he was MS-13 then, and no one believes it now.

Even a Trump administration official admitted he was deported by mistake.
You're an idiot, just believe anything cnntells you.

The court says he doesn't. So I guess the issue is do we still live in a country governed by the rules of law or the whims of a madman.

Oh, none of that shit is true. MS-13 isn't a terrorist group, there's no evidence he was ever associated with it, A Chicago Bulls hat is not a "related symbology".

He was regularly employed in construction.

The supposed "human trafficking charge" was that he was driving with some other construction workers.

The left always having to spin the criminality of their heroes.

Hey, Fuckwad, how about addressing the point.
Our laws state that if you are married to an American Citizen, you are entitled to residency.
Forget that he was also granted residency based on his legitimate fears of persecution if returned to his country, his wife is a citizen.
The deportation order was to anywhere but El Salvador because of rival gangs.
He got sent to El Salvador and Bukele said he's not getting out. Period. Full stop.

The US Code says you're wrong.

No hearing is required to deport a terrorist.
Which part of the US code, mate? I study it as a hobby, I would know. The terrorists in Guantanamo sued the Bush Administration, saying they had been denied habeas corpus under the law. It went to SCOTUS, which ruled they DID have habeas corpus. Look up Boumediene v. Bush 553 US 723 (2008).

Meanwhile: WHERE WERE ALL YOU PEOPLE the past four years while 1600 Americans lie rotten in a gulag for something they didn't do, while having all of their civil rights trampled on?

Screaming and yelling just as loud as you anytime someone was denied due process or illegally detained.

Of course. Garcia can challenge it from El Salvador.

I agree in spirit, but Biden and the democrats have overwhelmed the immigration system with the millions of illegals they have allowed across the border. There in no way that the vast number of illegals should be given a day in court. They should be summarily returned to Mexico as the country that they came from and let Mexico sort it out--they facilitated it as well. If the illegals want to pursue their day in court, they can be given a date that they can attend a hearing in courtroom on the border. If they are given asylum, fine, if not send them back. There is no way the American tax payer should be forced to shoulder the burden that these ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS have put on our society and court system.

We agree on these points.

And I don't like even the saylum situation. If they come here on asylum, they should go to a bordertown where they can be watched and their movements restricted. Instead we let them roam free. It's stupid.

But that needs to be fixed.

At the same time, when a court tells Trump to bring them back, he needs to comply for a couple of reasons, not the least of which is that he does not get to make up the rules.

The ends don't justify the means as some seem to think. We are a nation of laws. And for all those screaming about what has gone on and why (and sidestep the fundamental question), they are hypocrites.

Any illegal needs to be processed fast. And then deported. End of discussion.

But this is a different situation.

Garcia had his day in court.

It resulted in a removal order.

End of story.

That ship sailed 30 million migrants and 20 million babies ago, we are now not in bandaids anymore, we are in triage.

They were in US custody

Garcia is not

Yeah, you keep telling yourself that.

Eventually, Trump will buckle because he knows this is a bad look.

Then when Garcia gets on NBC and tells people what's going on down there, people will be horrified.

Remember when people got sick of the Iraq War after those pictures of naked prisoners being tortured?

How many lies are you going to tell to justify Trump's fuckup?
"Fuckup"? We LOVE that he was deported. It would only be a fuckup if he DIDNT deport him.

You guys really suck at picking your battles. :dunno:
