I can still remember at the beginning of COVID, when there were a few hundred deaths, they would compare that to the 14,000 deaths that Obama had with H1N1.

I deployed a lot, just not on the ship. You do know that Marines can deploy without being on a ship, right? That is what those transport airplanes are for.

Have you never heard of a "WestPac"? Most of my time in a squadron was spent with FA-18s, not a lot of those in a MEU.
