In California, 3,000 votes were recorded from an empty dorm building

This claim seems pretty credible, and the full article goes into a lot more detail than the excerpt that I'm posting.

The mainstream media has not debunked this claim.

Anatomy of an investigation into a non-investigation - Santa Barbara News-Press

May 30, 2021

Approximately 3,000 mail-in ballots counted in the Nov. 3 election were supposedly cast by UCSB students residing in a voting precinct that, along with other dorm buildings, includes the Francisco Torres/Santa Catalina Residence Hall at 6850 El Colegio Road in Goleta.

Problem: Due to COVID-19, the Torres Building, which normally accommodates 1,300 students, was empty and locked down through most of 2020, as were all other UCSB dorms.

This means no students/voters were residing inside the Torres Building (nor any of the other dorms) during the election season.

It also means these ballots were fraudulent.

That’s because there’s a second problem: These ballots could not legally have been forwarded to students where they were actually living.

Why not?

Because forwarding ballots to alternative addresses is a felony.

Questions: Did someone at the Torres Building hijack ballots, mark and file them? Or did someone illegally forward the ballots to students living with their parents elsewhere?

THE CRIMINAL COMPLAINT

Thomas Cole of Analytics 805, which monitors elections, uncovered the Goleta precinct’s voting irregularities during the course of his routine analysis. Alarmed by the phantom ballots he’d pinpointed, Mr. Cole called the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s Office for advice on how to file a criminal complaint alleging Fraud Corruption of the Voting Process.

The D.A.’s Office directed him to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.

Mr. Cole’s subsequent complaint, filed with the Sheriff’s Office, alleges that:

Someone in charge of the mail at the building illegally filled out those ballots for the students and sent all those ballots directly back to the election board, which is a felony.

Someone in charge of or with access to the ballots and signature machines simply ignored the phony signatures on the ballots returned from the Torres Building, which is a felony.

Or officials turned off the signature inspection machine.

Or officials lowered the threshold of the machine inspection on the Torres Building precinct ballots, thus allowing the approximate 3,000 fraudulent ballots to be counted, a felony.

The Santa Barbara has a very checkered history of poor relations in the community, suing ex-employee, under the current ownership. I saw nothing that would lead me to believe that this source is in any way credible.

California arrest mass voter fraud, or corrupt politicians? Comeon now....you know that isn't how the woke system works.

An audit of California would, ultimately, be a complete waste of time. Even if Biden got six times the number of votes that there are US citizens in California or one, the 55 EVs were always going to go to him.

It only makes sense to audit swing states.

As usual, you are being played by right wing fake news counting on your lack of knowledge of how voting and absentee ballots work.

When people order an absentee ballot, they order it from the precinct they are registered to vote in.

Their vote counts in the precinct they are registered in, the absentee ballot is sent to where the voter is temporarily staying that the voter requested it to be sent.

The article tries to fool you, implying ballots were sent to the dorm, but the info only tells them, that the voters are registered in that precinct, not that the ballots were mailed there.

Every absentee ballot counted has a signature verification as well....

Thus the article is once again, FAKE NEWS.

I've always been a fan of "The Blob" ... The 1958 version, not the terrible 1988 remake ... I consider it one of Steve McQueen's best roles and it was a high-water mark in cinematic horror / sci fi ... but, I don't see what that has to do with election audits.

I guess when you got nothing to counter with, you have to resort to satire....

You falsely characterize sanctuary cities and the steps that progressive states have taken in dealing with the failure of successive Republican administrations to shut down employers hiring illegal immigrants, or to pass reasonable immigration reform.

As long as large scale Republican donors are putting out “now hiring” signs for illegal immigrants, the southern border will be a problem.

The for-profit prison companies signed untendered contracts for $200 million under the Trump administration to construct internment camps along the southern border. Not coincidentally the for-profit prison companies were among the largest donors to Donald Trump’s inauguration fund.

Donald Trump prosecuted exactly one employer in the four years he was president. Of course Donald Trump has been hiring illegals for years so why would he prosecute someone for doing something he does?

Keep telling yourself that Donald Trump was doing all of this for the American people. Illegal immigration was at its lowest point in 50 years when Donald Trump took office. Two years later he was forced to declare a national emergency on the southern border.

Tell us again how he did this all for you.

Oh yes the American race to the bottom. Relocating to reduce taxes. Pretty soon nobody will be paying taxes and nothing will get done you won’t be able to operate.

Republicans are always wanting to cut taxes but they’re not saying how they’re going to pay for the cost of running a first world country without taxing the people who have all of the money.

I tend to think that a number of the corporations are that were relocating or thinking of relocating to Texas are going to be rethinking that idea after what happened last winter and what is currently happening there now with Greg Abbott.

The problem with Republican idealism is that it has no basis in reality or the real world. When Republicans come face to face with real world problems of financing city schools, hospitals, infrastructure and progress, they are utterly incompetent. They cannot address any civics need unless it conforms to the rigid alt-right dogma.

Successful company countries have a mix of public and private cooperation on funding of critical infrastructure. Red states won’t even regulate the corporations that they need to provide their infrastructure.

The most basic thing that government hast to do for the people is to keep the lights on and clean safe drinking water running. Republicans can’t even do that.

The 3000 votes don't really affect the presidential election, but they do the local elections (dems mostly with some non-affliates)...

The audit service that discovered the fraud says that they have only so far filed charges with the sheriff's department which would be controlled by those "elected" here but if they don't do something about the crime, that his next step is a formal FBI complaint.
