In Afghanistan, As the US Pulls Out the CCP Moves In...

China Is Now ā€˜Welcomed With Open Armsā€™

Following US Departure From Afghanistan;

Plans to Invest $62 Billion, Expanding Its

ā€œBelt and Roadā€ Initiative

"After years of working to re-legitimize Americaā€™s credibility and strength when confronting foreign policy, Donald Trump moved to make good on his promise to end the ā€˜forever warsā€™ and called to have all of our brave sons and daughters return home.

Trump was lambasted by just about everyone in the media for his actions

Now 6 months later, as Biden is cheered for pulling the remaining US forces out of the region, Beijing is gleefully stepping in to invest $62 Billion in Afghanistan to continue furthering its 60-country, $3 trillion ā€˜Belt and Roadā€™ Initiative.

Afghani leaders had been terrified for years about upsetting Trumpā€™s Washington over talks with the communist Chinese; but now that Biden is in office, officials are welcoming the CCP with open arms.

Not only has this laughing-stock completely weakened our stance and removed all credibility from the office of the leader of the free world, he has elevated radicals to prominent roles in his administration who are working to undermine the strength of our military and giving comfort to terrorists like the Taliban."

Way to go, Joe.

So you'd still have our troops in Afghanistan? Your idol--the blob--said he would pull them out but, of course, failed.

The CCP have been using 'soft power' (buying Democrats) for decades....

That's a terrible thing to say against any American, be they D or R!

Soft power is un-American.

Hard power with bombs from 30,000 feet is the American way!

Nevertheless, Biden is definitely selling out the American cause of imperialsim to China by ending that war.

Trump could have won that war, even if it took another 20 years.

Donnie, the 60ā€™s are over. Quit getting high and wash your feet.

Trump supported Biden pulling out. Then again Trump said he was pulling the military out. So winning wasnā€™t an option. At least according to Trump.

Obama was reportedly pulling troops out of Afghanistan. Instead, not only did he leave them there, he started a new war by invading Syria. As he walked out of the WH he left troops in Syria to fight HIS war. So what's your point?
In fact, Obama presented his 'red line' speech to Assad and then Putin and Assad quickly accepted Obama's demands. Obama obviously knew they would!
That opened the opportunity for Assad to get out from under the WMD excuse America was in the process of manufacturing that would justify a war. The elimination of Syria's WMD's was quickly accomplished to the satisfaction of all parties.
Putin/Russia then walked into Syria with military force, therein nullifying any US designs for a war on Syria. The WMD lie that worked on Iraq, didn't work on Syria. Obama in effect become a champion of peace, while becoming a traitor to his country's foreign policy aggression.
Obama never invaded Syria. Congress refused to authorize it. Obama provided technical support and air assistance to coalition forces fighting ISIS.

When Trump took over as president, he continued with Obamaā€™s program to eradicate ISIS and changed nothing. In fact, Trump bombed a Assadā€™s airbase, (after telling Putin he was going to do it), something Obama never did.

The troops that Obama left in Syria are still there, guarding the oil fields. Trump ordered them to stop protecting the Kurds from the Turks, but he left those troops in Syria.

Although your understanding of what took place in Syria is convoluted and confused, I think I've given you at least a basic understanding of how it all went down.

You may want to try to remind me how the US pretended that Syria didn't relinquich it's chem/bio weapons. But did America ever have any commitment to that last ditch line of bullshit?

Pure fantasy Donnie.

China has been pretty successful in Afghanstan over the past decade. They built a railroad and a power plant and the have mining operations.

Plus, they built Port Gwadar in Balochistan so that has opened up whole new markets for Afghanistan as well as a rail hub to Asia.

China isn't going to try to change their traditions, religion or heritage.

I don't love China, but I am aware of their soft power investments. China shares a long border with Afghanistan. They will still be neighbors long after we're gone.

Are you familiar with the Hazara people?

'Indybay'?!

"What is Indybay? Indybay is an open-publishing website for social justice news. That means you can directly Publish your own stories in your own words, unfiltered by the corporate media."

Your source is a collection of social justice BS opinions, not actual legitimate media sources.

'You can publish your own stories in your own words'

I can see why TDS-suffering, irrational hate-driven, reality-denying, liberal extremist view-slanted snowflakes like this site so much....

We don't need to be there.

Oppressing and committing genocide against the muslims in Afghanistan will be a far different experience for China than that of the chinese muslims in China.....they shoot back in Afghanistan...

Because of its strategic location as the short cut from the Asia to Europe, the Middle East, and Russia, Afghanistan has been invaded by every major power in Europe and Asia going back to Alexander the Great. The Afghan people have never been conquered by any invading nation.

I donā€™t know why todayā€™s world leaders have learned NOTHING over the past 2500 years.
They have learned. Watch now as China gains the strategic victoy in Afghanistan through co-operation withe the Taliban, but without bombs from above.

And then watch as the Taliban become that countries legitimate government by being accepted by Afghanistan's long suffering people.

In fact, the entire world is being changed from being subjected to US aggression, to China's peaceful approach to free and fair trade relations.

Should we all not rejoice over the end of US aggression, due to other super powers asserting their influence?

Or, how will America be able to get back in the fight to hold at least some influence in Afghanistan? It reminds one of how America has just lost Cuba too!
Kipling Knew About the Mountain Monkeys

When you are wounded and left on Afghanistan's plains
And their women come up to gouge out your remains
Take your gun and blow out your brains
And go to God looking like a soldier.

Strange that the US is actually conceding defeat to the Taliban and even taking measures to ensure that the Afghan military won't stand much of a chance of stopping their enemy.

Destroying the infrastructure of the US military base is saying loud and clear that the US knows the Afghan army will lose it quickly.

Another complete US military failure that had no purpose other than appeasing the American people's bloodlust with another slaughter of a country's people.

Other nations that took part in Afghanistan with humanitarian efforts, might as well been fighting against the US.

When and on which small country will America attempt it's next bombing campaign? What cause can be manufactured by the US to save Venezuela's people with bombs?

Are there any countries left that haven't completely rejected US imperialism by turning to China for free trade and China's way of peace?
Simmering Simians

The lands you feel so multicultie about aren't countries; they are wildlife preserves.
My opinion doesn't count. Americans themselves have proclaimed that America's cities are 'shitholes'.

I would only cautiously disagree, for now at least.

But I 'would' suggest that America is a racist 'shithole' that's bound it's own hands with it's domestic political fight!

To China's and Russia's benefit!

Imagine that, going to a country to build instead of destroy. Whatever China gets out of it, it can't be worse for Afghanistan than what we did to it. With some luck, the generations of potential terrorists we created by obliterating their families and country will choose rebuilding instead of revenge.

You've gone full-blown multicultie. Lucky for America, patriots are working on a vaccine for that, which will prevent it from spreading into the Heartland.

Obama obviously had never heard the old Foreign Policy saying, 'never bluff unless you are willing to back it up.'

Barry issued his 'red line' to Al-Assad with no intention of doing anything. Feeling pretty confident due to Putin having his back, al-Assad called his bluff...

...then in front of the whole world - enemies as well as allies - Barry backed down, demonstrating the appearance of weakness. The world laughed.

Barry tried to save facy by declaring to the word his 'red Line' was not just HIS 'Red Line' but was 'THE WORLD'S 'Red Line.
-- The entire world quickly said, 'Oh hell NO It isn't' ... and then laughed at him again.

Later, The Nobel Peace Prize winner committed a United Nations-Defined 'International War Crime' by illegally invading a sovereign nation - SYRIA - without having either the leaders of that nation inviting him to do so OR giving him their permission to do so.

Onthe day he walked out of the WH, he left US military troops in Syria to fight HIS war.

And one of the 1st things Biden did when he entered the WH was to ESCALATE Barry's War by sending in more troops.

Do you ever post anything that isnā€™t a lie.

Obama gave his ā€œred line in the sandā€ speech before asking Congress for permission to go to war in Syria. It was the Republican Congress which refused to authorize military action in Syria that caused Obama to back down.

For Republicans they got to publicly publicly embarrass Obama in front of the world. And then forever after blame him for backing down.

Republicans also blamed Obama for pulling out Iraq. W sign the withdrawal of forces agreement that called for US troops to leave Iraq, AFTER he left office.

This ensured that whatever happened thereafter would be blamed on the next guy. Thatā€™s much too clever by half for W who wasnā€™t the sharpest tool in the shed. I suspect that Cheney was behind that one.

Savages????? There are no words to express the revulsion and disgust I have for the level of arrogance and hubris that it takes for someone with no ethics, no morals, and no humanity, to refer to other people, cultures or nations as ā€œferal savagesā€.

It is on such ideas and notions that genocide resides. There is no problem with killing and wiping off the face of the earth ā€œferal savagesā€. When you reduce people to a sub human level, it doesnā€™t matter how you treat them. Killing them is a blessing to the world.

Feral savages like you endorse the murder of millions of indigenous people throughout north and south America. Feral savages like you endorsed the slaughter of Armenians in turkey.

Feral savages like you cheered Hitlerā€™s murder of the Jews, the Roma, and the Catholics.

You're too wrapped up in your domestic politics to be able to accept the facts on why Syria was saved from another US led war.

That's o.k., I'm still convinced that Obama was one of the greatest. And so does Russia. Obama purposely hijacked the propaganda effort to demonize Syria with another WMD lie that would result in war. It was the perfect demand by Obama that Assad and Putin would never turn down.

And then didn't America scream and pretend that Assad didn't comply!
