In fact, Obama presented his 'red line' speech to Assad and then Putin and Assad quickly accepted Obama's demands. Obama obviously knew they would!
That opened the opportunity for Assad to get out from under the WMD excuse America was in the process of manufacturing that would justify a war. The elimination of Syria's WMD's was quickly accomplished to the satisfaction of all parties.
Putin/Russia then walked into Syria with military force, therein nullifying any US designs for a war on Syria. The WMD lie that worked on Iraq, didn't work on Syria. Obama in effect become a champion of peace, while becoming a traitor to his country's foreign policy aggression.

Obama never invaded Syria. Congress refused to authorize it. Obama provided technical support and air assistance to coalition forces fighting ISIS.

When Trump took over as president, he continued with Obama’s program to eradicate ISIS and changed nothing. In fact, Trump bombed a Assad’s airbase, (after telling Putin he was going to do it), something Obama never did.

The troops that Obama left in Syria are still there, guarding the oil fields. Trump ordered them to stop protecting the Kurds from the Turks, but he left those troops in Syria.

Although your understanding of what took place in Syria is convoluted and confused, I think I've given you at least a basic understanding of how it all went down.

You may want to try to remind me how the US pretended that Syria didn't relinquich it's chem/bio weapons. But did America ever have any commitment to that last ditch line of bullshit?

Plus, they built Port Gwadar in Balochistan so that has opened up whole new markets for Afghanistan as well as a rail hub to Asia.

Because of its strategic location as the short cut from the Asia to Europe, the Middle East, and Russia, Afghanistan has been invaded by every major power in Europe and Asia going back to Alexander the Great. The Afghan people have never been conquered by any invading nation.

I don’t know why today’s world leaders have learned NOTHING over the past 2500 years.

They have learned. Watch now as China gains the strategic victoy in Afghanistan through co-operation withe the Taliban, but without bombs from above.

And then watch as the Taliban become that countries legitimate government by being accepted by Afghanistan's long suffering people.

Barry issued his 'red line' to Al-Assad with no intention of doing anything. Feeling pretty confident due to Putin having his back, al-Assad called his bluff...

Strange that the US is actually conceding defeat to the Taliban and even taking measures to ensure that the Afghan military won't stand much of a chance of stopping their enemy.

Destroying the infrastructure of the US military base is saying loud and clear that the US knows the Afghan army will lose it quickly.

Another complete US military failure that had no purpose other than appeasing the American people's bloodlust with another slaughter of a country's people.

Other nations that took part in Afghanistan with humanitarian efforts, might as well been fighting against the US.

When and on which small country will America attempt it's next bombing campaign? What cause can be manufactured by the US to save Venezuela's people with bombs?

Are there any countries left that haven't completely rejected US imperialism by turning to China for free trade and China's way of peace?

Obama was reportedly pulling troops out of Afghanistan. Instead, not only did he leave them there, he started a new war by invading Syria. As he walked out of the WH he left troops in Syria to fight HIS war. So what's your point?

In fact, Obama presented his 'red line' speech to Assad and then Putin and Assad quickly accepted Obama's demands. Obama obviously knew they would!
That opened the opportunity for Assad to get out from under the WMD excuse America was in the process of manufacturing that would justify a war. The elimination of Syria's WMD's was quickly accomplished to the satisfaction of all parties.
Putin/Russia then walked into Syria with military force, therein nullifying any US designs for a war on Syria. The WMD lie that worked on Iraq, didn't work on Syria. Obama in effect become a champion of peace, while becoming a traitor to his country's foreign policy aggression.

Obama never invaded Syria. Congress refused to authorize it. Obama provided technical support and air assistance to coalition forces fighting ISIS.

When Trump took over as president, he continued with Obama’s program to eradicate ISIS and changed nothing. In fact, Trump bombed a Assad’s airbase, (after telling Putin he was going to do it), something Obama never did.

The troops that Obama left in Syria are still there, guarding the oil fields. Trump ordered them to stop protecting the Kurds from the Turks, but he left those troops in Syria.

Although your understanding of what took place in Syria is convoluted and confused, I think I've given you at least a basic understanding of how it all went down.

Obama obviously had never heard the old Foreign Policy saying, 'never bluff unless you are willing to back it up.'

Barry issued his 'red line' to Al-Assad with no intention of doing anything. Feeling pretty confident due to Putin having his back, al-Assad called his bluff...

...then in front of the whole world - enemies as well as allies - Barry backed down, demonstrating the appearance of weakness. The world laughed.

Barry tried to save facy by declaring to the word his 'red Line' was not just HIS 'Red Line' but was 'THE WORLD'S 'Red Line.

Later, The Nobel Peace Prize winner committed a United Nations-Defined 'International War Crime' by illegally invading a sovereign nation - SYRIA - without having either the leaders of that nation inviting him to do so OR giving him their permission to do so.

Onthe day he walked out of the WH, he left US military troops in Syria to fight HIS war.


And one of the 1st things Biden did when he entered the WH was to ESCALATE Barry's War by sending in more troops.

Obama gave his “red line in the sand” speech before asking Congress for permission to go to war in Syria. It was the Republican Congress which refused to authorize military action in Syria that caused Obama to back down.

For Republicans they got to publicly publicly embarrass Obama in front of the world. And then forever after blame him for backing down.

Republicans also blamed Obama for pulling out Iraq. W sign the withdrawal of forces agreement that called for US troops to leave Iraq, AFTER he left office.

This ensured that whatever happened thereafter would be blamed on the next guy. That’s much too clever by half for W who wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. I suspect that Cheney was behind that one.

You're too wrapped up in your domestic politics to be able to accept the facts on why Syria was saved from another US led war.

That's o.k., I'm still convinced that Obama was one of the greatest. And so does Russia. Obama purposely hijacked the propaganda effort to demonize Syria with another WMD lie that would result in war. It was the perfect demand by Obama that Assad and Putin would never turn down.

And then didn't America scream and pretend that Assad didn't comply!
