Meanwhile, thriving urban hubs will get even more expensive as cheap labor dries up, leading to the collapse of major sources of jobs in each state's economic centers, further eroding secondary economies in suburbs. After the economic collapse, some will wonder if maybe cheap, motivated, even desperate labor is an economic good, and start advocating for work visas, just in time for a new progressive administration to swing the pendulum back. In the meantime, millions will have suffered and even died because people, in their basest of animal instincts are afraid of change.

On one hand, the left wants the federal government to raise minimum wage across the country, claiming that it won't affect the price of goods. On the other hand, they say we should keep the cheap labor here to keep costs down. In other words, pay citizens more even though small businesses will go under and prices will rise but pay the illegals slave wages so you don't have to pay more for your produce or to have your house cleaned.

You want it both ways. Over pay some citizens so those small businesses will go bankrupt. When they lose their job, they'll be total government dependents.

The left also wants to take advantage of illegal aliens. Hand them tax money for the anchor children so they can live here and work for peanuts. Of course, they send billions back home each year instead of spending that money in our economy.

Is that the leftist version of the American dream? I think the left dreams of socialism, Marxism or even communism. I am tired of hearing them badmouth those who actually do live the American dream because libs resent those who do better than others.

Low paying farm jobs used to go to young people so they could pay for their own phones and pricey sneakers. These days, everyone feels that they are entitled to things and the thought of work scares them. Time to get back to basics. You either put forth the effort or go without. Nothing teaches a good work ethic like want and need. If you want more than the bare minimum your parents provide, get off your ass and get busy. And if you have no work experience, no degrees or even a high school diploma, prepare to work for low wages. You want more money, then get your shit together and prove you are worth it.

When you have little experience and no special training, then a job to detassel corn or other menial farm jobs is what you get. Those jobs are still better paying than paper routes, which many other young kids did to start learning about work.

We used to have tons of local kids in the fields but now older illegal aliens are doing it cheaper than the locals. Sure, farmers like saving money but locals did the work for years for decent pay. That didn't need to change. Working at meat packing plants also used to be good money and benefits, at least until illegal aliens offered to do the work cheaper. No one in their right mind would take a job in some of them now because the conditions are awful and the pay stinks.

The left says they do jobs Americans won't do. Wrong. They do jobs we used to do. And the left has invaded schools to teach our children that they are entitled and that they are too good to do some jobs. So, the reason some won't do those jobs now is because it's less money and no benefits. Not to mention that parents don't teach their children to have a good work ethic because so many parents, and their parents, never worked. It's a liberal dream to have so many who think government is the only way to go when it comes to getting what they need.

What you and other libs have revealed about yourselves on this subject is that you guys are fans of slavery when it comes to adult illegal aliens.
