So, now I know I can't use the short cut. I have to type in US messageboard.

depends on the device and browser you use, but generally on the side of the address line in your browser is a pull down menu where you access the settings

I found the three dots on the upper right of the monitor. I pressed it and it said "control and customize yout Google Chrome. Is that it?

I've got that, but when I press settings, nothing says cache...

on some devices you have to go into the device menu, to apps, pull up browser app and clear cache.
if where you are has privacy settings it is there
