I DO remember that Trump was the first candidate to request Secret Service protection.But Trump is heading to Camp David, which he said was interesting for about 30 minutes, every weekend. Maybe he'll just stay home and bowl for the rest of the year.The secret service is not out of money
Actually, they kinda are. They have already hit the spending limit on their budget and we're only halfway through the year.

WASHINGTON — The Secret Service can no longer afford to pay hundreds of agents it needs to carry out an expanded protective mission – in large part due to the sheer size of President Trump's family and efforts necessary to secure their multiple residences up and down the East Coast.
Secret Service Director Randolph "Tex'' Alles, in an interview with USA TODAY, said more than 1,000 agents have already hit the federally mandated caps for salary and overtime allowances that were meant to last the entire year.
The agency has faced a crushing workload since the height of the contentious election season, and it has not relented in the first seven months of the administration. Agents must protect Trump – who has traveled almost every weekend to his properties in Florida, New Jersey and Virginia – and his adult children whose business trips and vacations have taken them across the country and overseas.

Trump can go anywhere he wants, but he will never go anywhere without the secret service. The amazing thing is that you twits think that he directs the secret service or orders them around. He doesn't and he is not responsible for what they do or spend

Title 18 U.S.C.' 3056(a)(7) authorizes the U.S. Secret Service to provide protection for major presidential and vice presidential candidates:Criteria have been established to assist the DHS Secretary and the advisory committee in their decision making (as of 2008). Candidates must:
- Protection is authorized by the DHS Secretary after consultation with the Congressional Advisory Committee
- The Congressional Advisory Committee includes: Speaker of the House, House Minority Leader, Senate Majority Leader, Senate Minority Leader, and one additional member selected by the others
Title 18 U.S.C.' 3056(a)(7) states that the U.S. Secret Service is also authorized to protect spouses of major Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates, as identified by the DHS Secretary, within 120 days of the general Presidential election.
