Right across the street from me is a small, 4 unit apartment complex full of Mexicans who know little or no English. There must be 25 cars parked there. It's massively over-crowded and the trash that blows from the property proves that they don't give a damn about their neighbors or the trashy property they inhabit. They've brought their culture with them which is turning out to be a real blight on our society.

I'm not surprised that the illegal in the OP is suing for having his life saved. They have an entitlement mentality. And why shouldn't he considering the fact that he gets everything else for free.

Some states have a good Samaritan law that protects innocent heroes from waspish people whom they saved in a life-and-death situation.

If that state doesn't have one, its heroes deserve to be protected by a Good Samaritan law.

It usually only applies to licensed caregivers, and no matter what the situation, you have to have acted in accordance with the reasonable person in a similar situation standard.

And there is a tort known as 'wrongful life.' Be careful who you save. They or their employer could definitely be liable for the MVA.
