So Pauli - this quote that you provided, this is what you believe to be factual and true?
Employment Authorization Documents (EAD) are small plastic cards issued by the USCIS that allow the holder of the card to work legally in the U.S. for any employer. Only certain people qualify for an EAD. An EAD is not the same as a Green Card. An EAD does not give you legal status in the United States – it only allows you to work in the U.S. if you already have legal status. For example, if you have filed an adjustment of status application, you are legally permitted to remain in the U.S. while it is pending. If you wish to work, you may apply for an EAD and use this EAD to work for any employer while you are legally in the U.S.
And, so that we are clear, are you saying that this girl has an EAD and that her EAD does not give her legal status?
I am saying she has an EAD and the law says that an EAD is different to a GREENCARD and the EAD does not give legal status, only the GREENCARD gives legal status to those filing for adjustment of status.
She will no longer be eligible for the DREAM program because of her crime.
Any lawyer will tell you this.
But keep arguing from a position of ignorance, it appears that is all you have!
Read the link, read the forth row down in the excerpt I cut from the link.
