All predictions of disaster aside, in fact the polar bear is no closer to extinction than it was in 2005 as Arctic sea ice again steadfastly resists slipping past a catastrophic ‘tipping point’ — or the ‘death spiral’, as some chicken-littles continue to call it.

But they used computer models to show doom was ahead!

What a contradiction, this article still claims Arctic Ice is destroying habitat for polar bears yet there so many they are invading towns. Looks like the picture was at the dump, which is attractive food for polar bears.

And the bears really do thrive, the population is growing. And an important point to remember is there are not thousands of researchers out in the frozen Arctic Circle counting the bears. Almost all research is done close to towns because, the Arctic is still a frozen land, millions of square miles. Only the edges, near towns, near an airport and hotels are used for Polar Bear research.

Inuit are concerned about public safety as Davis Strait polar bears numbers increase

An assessment of the health of Davis Strait polar bears by 35 Inuit polar bear experts was made public two weeks ago. Overall, these experts agree that virtually all polar bears they see are healthy and that the population has been growing over the past few decades, so much so that “public safety has become an increasing concern”. Mainstream media have ignored this report, as far as I have seen.

so just one question, if the arctic was completely iced over, how would polar bears feed on fish and seals?

Wouldn't polar bears find more fish in water? Just someone who doesn't matter to the story, but thinking, what?

You are right. It is simply a story people can not easily confirm.

They observe most polar Bears in Hudson Bay, not the Arctic.
