Zone1 If you were gone tomorrow...

I've been doing that; however, some wrongs cannot be undone and remain regrets.
If you can't fix it you shouldn't dwell on it. The culmination of experiences, including mistakes, are what makes us who we are. You wouldn't be you without those things.

I don't dwell on them, but they are always there as part of my history.

What would your regrets be, if any? The words you left unsaid. The people you didn’t reach out to. That conversation you kept putting off. That thing you never did.

Is there anything you could say or do today that would lessen that regret? That one call, that message, that admission you’ve been holding inside, the action you haven't taken?

Life doesn’t give us guarantees. We often wait for the right moment, and then the right moment passes. If you could act today to have fewer regrets if you were gone tomorrow, what would you do, and why haven’t you done it yet? What are you waiting for?
I hear what you are saying but like most things, regret serves a purpose. I think the trick is to minimize the number and magnitude. With that said the extreme side of regret is guilt which can sometimes be counterproductive to moving forward and progressing. Jesus Christ took on our guilt and punishment for us. So we have no excuse for letting our guilt or regrets get in the way of progressing as human beings.
