You admit the policy reasons, but you can't respect them, you have an emotional need of other, pathetic, and personal reasons, so that you can feel that our support is not legitimate.

You could RESPECTFULLY disagree on policy, and still be true to your lefty principles.

But you don't.

I suspect because on some level, you know that you cannot defend the lefty policy positions.

Being...the way you are, gives you the tactic of withdrawing from discussion.
