I actually went to see one of his shows taped by PBS in San Fran.. Took my mom/dad to the studio.. Was a big fan also.. He showed up at the Gilroy Garlic Festival every year as well.. He's an amazing chef and entertainer..

Doesn't everyone? No fame in making noodles. LOL... He's one of the reasons that when I moved out of Cali -- one of the first questions I'd ask realtors was if there was any good Chinese food in town.

That's really cool. I would take a wild guess and say he's
also into some martial arts, by his demeanor and the way he moves
his hands when he's talking.
