If Trump loses, expect a Republican civil war

Democrats have a higher probability of a civil war than Republicans. It will be the progressive/Hamas wing vs the union wing.

There are no wings of the Republican party to go to war. Nikki and Desantis aren't that far apart on policies.
If Harris loses, I wonder if we wont get another woman candidate for a while, but you will see a long list of people jockeying for the top. Jefferies will be the congressional leader. The platform remains virtually the same, coalitions remain in place.

**** you and your Hamas nonsense by the way you racist piece of shit

Conservatives can read the tea leaves and are starting to consider what the Republican Party will look like after a Trump loss. Conservative writer and Bush campaign creative team director is predicting a Republican Civil War if Trump loses.

Questions:
1. Does Trump go quietly if he loses?

2. Who can pull the Republican Party back together after it has been defined as a party of personality?

If Trump loses, expect a Republican civil war

To have one family in complete control of a major national political party is an aberration in our country. Daughter-in-law Lara Trump, installed as co-chair of the Republican National Committee in March, naively spoke the truth in February when she said of its fundraising, “Every single penny will go to the number one and the only job of the RNC — that is electing Donald J. Trump as president of the United States…”

That aside, a Trump loss inevitably means an internal civil war within the Republican Party. I believe a “war” is inevitable between the all-powerful Trump forces and those who want to move on from the Trump era and win the White House in 2028 without any Trump family members on the ticket.

Like all civil wars, this one could be brutal, because the GOP opposition forces see in Trumpism a political dead-end with a shrinking voter base. Today, identifying as a Republican is not about conservative governing principles but automatic loyalty to Trump, with his MAGA troops in control of the party machinery from top to bottom.

So who would it be? Some names are familiar and obvious: Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), who each look in the mirror and see a future president. Add a new name with popular Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R), who has had a contentious history with Trump — haven’t they all, though? That experience will embolden these leaders to forge a new path for the party, maybe led by one of them, or else a new leader will emerge.
The problem for the Republicans at this point is not their (Trump) agenda.

It's their standard-bearer or poster-boy.

You put somebody like Nikki Haley or Ted Cruz on the pedestal and re-brand the Trump agenda and you win.

But.. it is the fate of men, that they do not listen to reason, once they've chosen a path, or a candidate, despite warnings...

So the Republicans are going to have to get their a$$e$ kicked good-and-proper before Reality finally sinks-in...

Afterwards, Trump's family will be purged from the RNC and he will be quietly shunted off to the side and then ignored...

Once the dust settles, the Pubs will begin work on rebranding themselves and will start easing-out the worst MAGAtts...

After a cycle or two, those modern-day Know-Nothings will be largely and merely a bad memory to be quickly forgotten...

what are the democrats going to do if he wins?....

He's not going to win. I expect him to pull out of the election rather than face the humiliation of another loss. Trump is a failed President who the American people voted out of office because of his failure.

20% of Republicans voted against him in the primaries. He's getting crazier and more unhinged by the day as Harris goes from one packed cheering rally to the next.

It’s 50/50-ish right now. You have to be prepared for the possibility of a loss. If it occurs, what is next?
The United States as it exists, will no longer be. In other words we will be screwed. Look at what has happened in the last few years.

All that need be said is this most simple fact.
The Bushies { every bushie } literally and figuratively hate
, Trump with a passion. The answer or explanation is also most
simple. The Bushies and their soulmates thought that Jeb Bush would
be the guy in 2015.That pipe dream was burst in short order by
One Donald Trump.By mocking Jeb as " Low Energy ".
Jeb was a baby huey Mama's boy.Was a pretty good Florida Governor
but did not handle stress or areas of dire seriousness with any
strength. It was almost like he waited until talkin' with Mommy
on the phone to get her approval.Without his Mommy and Daddy
Jeb was like an overgrown { mental midget } who could not handle
things all by his lonesome.
The exact opposite of a Donald Trump.
Trump located jeb's achilles' heel and exposed it for all it
was worth. Thus Jeb proving how much of a wuss he was.
He relied almost exclusively on other's to help boost his
way of Governance.
Again ... the polar opposite of real estate magnate Donald Trump.

And none will admit to having supported Trump like none now admit to supporting Bush the Lesser

I'll sign up.I supported Bush 43 ... and by extension Dick Cheney
Big Time.Right up until 2008.Then i had no choice but to think
McCain.Without Sarah Palin,I probably would not have voted
at all.McCain was a poor candidate and asshole as a person.
I Voted for Trump twiced. And Support most all he does.
Again Trump is Hated by many Bushies because they are
not true Conservatives.Ross Perot was 3 times the Conservative that
either Bush the elder or Bush 43 were.

I am not so sure. Most of the republican positions are unpopular (abortion restrictions, ending affordable care, election fraud lies, Jan 6 position that criminals are political prisoners, support for Russia over Ukraine) and what makes up the difference are two things: 1. Trump's personality cult appeal 2. Democrats are incumbents which get hit for the overall disapproval of government no matter who is in office.

If the Pub lose either they are screwed in my humble opinion.

Accept the results of the election, ***** about it, choose better candidates and organize better, and do better the next time.
DO you think your leaders will let you choose your candidate next time? LOL

You should prepare for the US becoming irrelevant.........soon
Define soon? A billion years when the Sun goes out? Right now the US economy is driving the world. It's culture and art is leading the world. Its athletics is leading the world. Its military is leading the world. Long way to go for irrelevancy.

He’s correct – Democrats aren’t lying about stolen elections, cheating, or non-citizens voting; that sort of dishonesty is the sole purview of the right.
Dems can be violent, I am sure. But about elections? Trump will lose, but if he wins, we will see if the theory is tested.

It only seems that way.
