If Trump / Israel is losing the Iran war...will the military obey commands to nuke Iran to stop he destruction of Israel?
Jews have their own nukes. But this question is about America's military under Trump.

History lesson. Since the radical Islamist government took over Iran and oppressing their citizens, It's government has continually been barking: "Death to Israel" and "Death to America." They have continually funded proxy terrorist groups to attack not just America and Israel, but other nations as well. It's a case of believe not only what they say, but who they fund. They will never stray from the goal of Islamic world domination and kill and oppress as many as they can to achieve that.
Being aware of their history and the fact that they had begun enriching uranium, Iran is one nation you don't want having nukes, for they wouldn't hesitate to provide terrorist groups with small nukes.
So, we bombed their nuclear facilities and their response was of course, expected: "We declare war on the US and Israel." So, even though congress hasn't approved declaring war on Iran, we are, because of Iran's statement, in a war with Iran.
As to losing a war with Iran. That isn't going to happen. The only Muslim nation with nukes is Pakistan and they have nuclear armed India to worry about. They repeatedly get into conflicts with each other.
Years ago, before the Trump eras, the US government announced that we would use nukes if it was felt that a "first-strike" was necessary. Iran just doesn't currently have the capability at this time and a situation restricting the use of nukes is that millions of Iranians don't really want to live under the Islamic regime, so we won't be dropping nukes on cities. The most likely nuke use would be "tactical" nukes on military compounds, but even here, there has been great success using conventional weaponry.
