That was before Jan 6 and before the overturning of Roe vs Wade. We've only had one election since these two political earthquakes -- the 2022 election.

The 2022 polls underestimated the Democratic vote. The 2024 polls are probably underestimating the Democratic vote, as well.

Having talked to Republicans and democrats since 2020 I'm convinced a large number if not a majority on the Right still believe the Democrats cheated heavily to move the numbers to a Biden win in the hours and even days after the 2020 election.

Since many still hold that belief, why would they think 2024 would be any different?

No matter how far ahead Trump may be after the last polls close on Nov 5th, just as occurred in 2020 will we see incredible last minute numbers seem to materialize out of thin are and push Harris/Walz to victory, often times by incredibly razor thin margins?

Do we now trust that the counts will be transparent and true in Blue states for some reason?
And even if there was no cheating (or little), wouldn't that mean that an incredible number of Americans did not want Trump then so are these same people going to vote as they did in 2020 again in 2024?

All I'm saying is that there is definitely room for doubt and uncertainty. I don't think anyone can predict this election. Especially not the polls.
