Not sure you follow what the data is showing with early voting. They are comparing this point in the election to 2016/20 and republicans are over performing in early voting and democrats are underperforming. The issue is one of momentum being behind republicans. The closer it gets to to election day the harder it is to get people to cast a ballot. Democrats are more conditioned to vote early and so when the numbers are underperforming they know they have a problem.
Thinking democrats are getting votes from Haley/Cheney supporters is laughable when Gabbard/RFK/Musk are actively campaigning for TRUMP. Haley and Cheney might bring a few thousand votes for Harris, but Gabbard/RFK/Musk are getting millions of votes for TRUMP!!!

Just saw the polling for TX about an hour ago...TX is continuing it's historical standard...Trump up by +6.
Florida is Trump up by +10.
I think we can safely take those off the table.

There is no such comparison. If Republicans are voting now, it means they can't vote on election day. There is no advantage one way or the other.
There is no indication at all that Democrats are underperforming. That is nothing but wishful thinking on your part.
And Republicans are underperforming pretty badly in PA, at least right now they are.

The problem for Democrats isn't just the over performance of Republicans...it's the under performance of Democrats.
Traditionally Democrats just aren't much for turning out on election day. They need to bank a shit-ton of votes early. That's why Democrats really pushed for early voting.
This election it's really come back to bite them in the ass...because they screwed themselves out of three weeks to attempt to dig themselves out of this hole.
The OTHER thing that these big early numbers do for Trump is signal to undecideds swimming in a sea of liberals that Trump is winning.
Everyone want's to vote for the winner.
I mean...reporting these big numbers early is damn near election interference.
People on the fence can easily be swayed by such things.
