Civil War Memorial Statues
Sound like they'd be perfect Trumpublicans up till about 1964 when the coalition of Northern Democrats and Republicans passed the Civil Rights Act. That began the split from the racist wing of the Democrat Party, which has been since annexed by the Trumpublicans.

Why note the 1964 act?
The Civil Rights Act of 1957 was supported by all the Republicans in the Senate, but only 29 of 47 Democrats…and a number of the ‘segregationist’ Democrats were northern Dems (Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Wyoming). Not southerners: Democrats.
a. There were plenty of southern integrationists. They were Republicans.

a. Clinton’s mentor was J. William Fulbright, a vehement foe of integration who had voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964. “Sen. William Fulbright (D-Ark.), awarded the Medal of Honor by Bill Clinton, was a staunch segregationist; Al Gore Sr. (D-Tenn.) vehemently opposed equal rights for blacks.” Who are the real racists?

6. I contend that many of the social problems of society today stem from a lack of parental instruction.
But a parent is no longer home to raise the kiddies because of the Democrat/Progressive attack on marriage and the family......
....and because of the exorbitant and reckless raising of takes on the American family.
The signature of the Democrat Party is the one that has resulted in American families needing two incomes: taxes.
But he did identify what he called “tactical lessons.” He let himself look too much like “the same old tax-and-spend liberal Democrat.” The Education of President Obama
The greatest bar to both the accumulation of wealth, and the resultant requirement that secular government schooling bring up our children.....is taxation.
With the result that appears in headlines, daily.
No Democrat Party would result in a more manageable tax rate.
