A mind needs to make excuses for official government actions that seem to make no sense. It goes back a long way when those official explanations tell you that you that you did not see what you just saw. JFK was obviously shot from the front by the laws of physics and the trajectory of the bullet. But that did not fit so the people had to be convinced to view the incident with their own eyes wide shut. It worked well then as it works now.

The government had its reasons for offing Kennedy and it may be another fifty years before the truth comes out if ever. But that event serves as an example of how the people can be played for fools by government that operates for its own reasons outside the will of the people.

When the government tells you that you did not see what you just saw that should cause reasonable minds to start asking questions. But reasonable minds do not admit to being fools. It is the sheep aspect that leads them to the slaughter and it is all over before they even know what happened.

The government needed to protect itself from the people who were lawfully following a leader that challenged insular government. The people were going to win, so drastic measures had to be taken one of which was the corruption of the election process with calibrated fraud so obvious that even a child could see it.

Trump was way over his head and that the majority of Americans were aware of it. What is happening in America is that since 2016 people can't accept elections not going their way. The contention the 2020 election was rigged is laughable, did you listen to that Trump call to the Georgia election official calling on him to change the vote? The one offer the dems offered for compromise was to fund his wall ..... for the poison pill of letting the DACA folks become citizens. That's not much of a compromise. It was the only way Trump could have his wall, but it would have ended his presidency. Meanwhile some in the DOJ were conspiring to illegally surveil.

The dems just met the gop with more concessions on covid relief than the gop offered, and the dems just won 330 EV and flipped the senate.
