If the Democratic Party strategy of backing Trumpers in the Primaries was such a Good One . . .

. . . why are they having to scrape the bottom of the barrel for candidates to run against what is supposed to be a bunch of whacky Trump supporters with little chance of winning? If beating them is like shooting fish in a barrel, why aren't the more serious Dems lining up to beat them?

Democrat Katie Hobbs is afraid to debate Kari Lake even in an event in which Lake will be asked questions like "who is the legitimate president," and "prove the election was stolen. You have thirty seconds." This should be question number number one on the application to run against a Trumper:

1) Are you willing to debate a Trumper?

Yes

No (if "No" discard this application)

This is for governor, not some county tax assessor. But that's seriously the best the Dems can come up with?

Look at Fetterman. It is sad that he had a stroke, but he wasn't in much better shape cognitively when the Dems picked him. What were his accomplishments before the Dems pinned on him their hopes of a fifty-two seat majority in the Senate? Look at who he's running against, Oprah's health advisor. He's a TV doctor running in a state in which his residency has been questioned.

But the Dems run the only guy who looks worse than that. Isn't there a better Dem who wants to be a dadgum senator for Pete's sake?

Dems, you got some 'splainin' to do.

I find it HILARIOUS that dems spent MILLIONS of dollars to pack the house with "extreme MAGA candidates". Talk about an EPIC backfire, but i suppose everything they do backfires spectacularly these days.

Generally agreed! --- In the case of Fetterman, D's love candidates like him and Biden, candidates who are mentally a shell of a person, because they can effectively control those candidates and/or replace those candidates after their election with an unelected very extreme communist candidate of their own.

The Trump candidates are running good races and the GOP could retake the Senate.
The GOP will take back the Senate... it's just a matter of how much they'll take it back by. Right now, it could be as little as 52 seats of as many as 54 seats. Outside of that range is possible, but is a large stretch on both sides.
