If someone has advice on how to break through to trump fans I'm all ears.

You like the tariffs?
Yes, short term they are bad, long term they help. It also helps trim the deficit, it may cause inflation in the short term but it gives us buying power and makes our products overseas more competitive which strengthens the dollar. The new EU tariffs are now capped at 15%, it’s a win win for us. We are able to compete strategically with the EU countries.

How about coming up with a viable platform with ideas that appeal to the American People? For the last 10 years, Democrats’ platform has been getTrump, TrumpSucks, MAGA Supporters are stupid, DEI, Transgender, Climate Change, and Ignore The Border.

Are you people ever going to tap into the swing voter and find out what is important to them??

l’ll make it simple, the only reason Harris made it as a candidate is Biden endorsed her when he dropped out and I believe that he did that on purpose to screw the party.
I doubt that was the only reason. Hell, I’m not sure Potato even endorsed her behind the scenes at all.
It wasn’t until days later did the Obama’s and Clinton’s endorsed her, she had no real vision, no real ideas, kept the lie that
I know the Dims brainless trust have her support. And I also already that Kamalalala has no real ideas.
Biden was fit,
No doubt that he was unfit. Not even a doubt in my mind.
and the only reason anyone on the left gave me to vote for her is she wasn’t Trump.
I also accept that.
They did convince me not to vote for Trump.
That’s a you problem.
I do not like Trump as a person,
Ok. You’re entitled to your opinions.
he is abrasive
In some ways he sure is.
and stirs up shit to stir up shit.
Disagree. He seems to stir shit up for a reason (usually).
His spending.
His?
He hinted at political revenge, which I did not like but was hoping he was being Trump,
He may have implied that he relished some political payback. But, when it is about the criminality of the other side’s actors, I don’t really care that he relishes some payback, too.
I liked Trump because of his foreign policy, the tariffs, taking care of our borders and moving a social issue out of the way.
Me too.
But I don’t like Trumps personality
You’re not obliged to.
and his stub
Not sure what you mean, there.
, so I went third party.
Again. That’s a decision you’re free to make.
I voted for who I wanted
I hope so.
and I believe all Americans should
I dont.
we need to break away from the voting for the lesser of two evils as it has not helped our country get better.
It is surprisingly better than voting for the greater of two evils — or the lesser of two non-evil options

Nope..... They have to be taught to hate and to fear. They must be instructed on how to accept 250 lb hairy trans men in little girls bathrooms!
They will do hiring only by the rainbow flag protocol! They will either buy Dylan Mulvaney's
Bud light but they will have their EBT cards shut off!

I'm not buying any of these. Even if what you are saying is true.

How do they help in the long term?

How does tariffing imports make our products overseas more competitive? I think those countries want their citizens to buy locally. They don't want to **** up their economies by buying American made products. What for? It will cost them jobs. So I don't buy that it's going to add up to more sales overseas.

We have a trade imbalance with the EU the same way I have a trade imbalance with my barber. Every month I go to his business and spend money with him and god damn it he never spends any money with me.

Only if the tariffs bring manufacturing back home will I see this as a good thing. I mean, you're bragging about it giving the US government more buying power. You mean more money to blow.

You mean Trump's deficit which is going to explode the debt? Yea, he found a way to cut things that help poor people and he's giving rich people and corporations tax breaks. This is one way to shift the economic burden more on to you the consumer.

1. What a Trade Imbalance Means
  • A trade deficit happens when a country imports more than it exports (buys more goods from abroad than it sells).
  • A trade surplus happens when a country exports more than it imports.
Governments often worry about persistent deficits because they can mean jobs, industries, or money flowing overseas.

2. How Tariffs Work
A tariff is basically a tax placed on imported goods.
For example:
  • If the U.S. puts a 20% tariff on imported steel, foreign steel costs 20% more for American buyers.
  • That makes domestic steel relatively cheaper and more attractive
3. How Tariffs Help Address Trade Imbalances

Tariffs are designed to:
  1. Reduce Imports
By making foreign goods more expensive, consumers and businesses may buy fewer imports.
→ This lowers the import side of the trade balance.
  2. Encourage Domestic Production
Higher prices on imports make local products more competitive.
→ Domestic industries may grow, which can boost exports over time.
  3. Increase Government Revenue
The government collects tariff money on every import.
→ This doesn’t directly change the trade balance, but it can offset economic impacts.

Yes that all sounds good but all the Made In America companies prices are going up too. You think they are going to keep their prices down so to be more competitive?

Plus all these Made in America companies are buying my shit. I sell to manufacturers in America. These prices are raising their prices too.

This just seems like the opposite of what Trump promised us. Even though he promised us everything. Even that he would lower drug prices 2000%. But this certainly is going to raise the cost of everything and inflation. So I hope when it's all said and done I hope you admit Americans did not get a raise to cover these increased costs.

I certainly haven't gotten a raise yet.

BUT, I charge companies $10,000 and I only pay $6000. So they pay me $1000 tariff and I only pay $600. I don't know how that's going to work out at the end of the year. Do we have to send in all our tariff money? Or can we keep the 40% I'm making on tariffs?

For the record, I told the Army that I would only charge them the tariff I'm paying. So technically they aren't paying 10% of their price. They are paying my tariff. That's awfully white of me huh?

The government charges the country that imports the goods the tariffs, the importers pay the tariffs and then charge you, you then can charge your customers if you like.

You can conduct business however you like, not my concern.

Everything you sited is Fascism. Parents didn’t want that nor did they want their children to be forced to be read stories by chicks with dicks.

No doubt that is a major problem. How do we get them to break the cycle?
Back track a few years and consider one of your dear socialist leaders, Komrade, who claimed anyone not supporting the Dumbocrats was part of a "basketful of deplorables".

The divide is decades old and likely won't be solved by you Leftists.
Short of you getting your one-party system of guv'mint emplaced.

Bill Maher was right. Trump doesn't have to win over any group. Blacks, homophobes, Hispanics, pot heads, racists, women, arabs, jews. What Trump did though was win over 5% more of every group than Bush did. If he could just fool 5% of every demographic, he wins.

Every time I see someone talking about trannies in bathrooms with little girls it dawns on me that Trump is brilliant at running for President. He's a horrible president but he's brilliant at winning over people who have no business voting Republican. The other day he stole POT from us liberals.

President Trump says he is considering reclassifying marijuana as a less dangerous drug under federal law – moving it from the category of substances that includes heroin and LSD, to the category of substances that includes Tylenol with Codeine.

How about no tax on overtime? Brilliant!

Alex Jones gives Trump 12 months to live.

Kankles

His dad died of Alzheimers

Is Trump DYING? MAGA Panics After His FAILING HEALTH Becomes IMPOSSIBLE to HIDE!!

Hiding his kankles.

:dunno:

Your racist party putting up a half black woman made your racists brethren stay home.

15th post
Trump is on his last term and is doing more for America and the people than the last four presidents combined... deal with it libtards....

Neither has stolen elections and you never proved it happened. Never said I was a struggling middle classer, I never voted for Trump and my not voting for Trump in a state Harris won handily didn’t affect the outcome of an election. I tell you over and over the things I dislike about Trump but you in your infinite wisdom, don’t read my posts.

Thanks for the name calling it tells me you have no real argument just opinions because your party spouts them.

President Donald Trump said Monday night that he’s firing Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, an unprecedented move that would constitute a sharp escalation in his battle to exert greater control over what has long been considered an institution independent from day-to-day politics.

Trump said in a letter posted on his Truth Social platform that he is removing Cook effective immediately because of allegations that she committed mortgage fraud.

I can't believe none of this worries you.

Cook said Monday night that she would not step down. “President Trump purported to fire me ‘for cause’ when no cause exists under the law, and he has no authority to do so,” she said in an emailed statement. “I will not resign.”

Bill Pulte, a Trump appointee to the agency that regulates mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, made the accusations last week. Pulte alleged that Cook had claimed two primary residences ― in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Atlanta ― in 2021 to get better mortgage terms. Mortgage rates are often higher on second homes or those purchased to rent.

And isn't it funny that Trump was found guilty of something similar? He claimed his net worth was more than it was in order to get better interest rates from banks.

If Trump succeeds in removing Cook from the board, it could erode the Fed’s political independence, which is considered critical to its ability to fight inflation because it enables it to take unpopular steps like raising interest rates. If bond investors start to lose faith that the Fed will be able to control inflation, they will demand higher rates to own bonds, pushing up borrowing costs for mortgages, car loans and business loans.

Richard Nixon and Lyndon Johnson put heavy pressure on the Fed during their presidencies — mostly behind closed doors. Still, that behind-the-scenes pressure to keep interest rates low, the same goal sought by Trump, has widely been blamed for touching off rampant inflation in the late 1960s and ’70s.

Do you think Trump knows better than the Feds regarding lowering interest rates?

Costing us more. And he insists on lowering interest rates even though everyone knows that will cause inflation.

Funny how smart you think Trump is. He's not. And you're dumb as ****. TBH

do you think people shouldn't lose their jobs over poor performance or disobeying policies? interesting. How many people lose their jobs everywhere else in the country? Can you look that up? I will be happy to post a report if you are too lazy. Let me Know.
