I remember double digit inflation under Carter. It helped enormously for Carter to be utterly rejected and Ronald Reagan to be elected President in 1980. It took Reaganonmics three years to bring inflation down to acceptable levels but he he left office with higher inflation than what we have now. I suspect Trump will do that much more quickly but his economic policies haven't had time to kick in yet and won't do so until the new budget in October. We're still stuck with Biden's budget until then.

In the months then following that, we should then be able to see more progress.

Reagan's policies increased inflation, and he eventually had to raise taxes 11 times. He turned this country into a debtor nation from a creditor nation. They became disoriented, brainwashed, programmed to spew talking point and propaganda and turn a blind eye to what was real. Once done and they realized their folly, it was too late. And yes, it could happen in America.

How do you know that everything you buy this year isn't going to cost you $2400 more? What is wrong with you ******* retards? You can't believe that companies are just going to eat all these tariffs, do you?

And it's on average. The average family. Or person. I forget. But the point is, if you need to buy a washing machine, new car, dish washer, you name it. Almost everything is going to cost you more. And you can't deny that.

It's already started but things aren't as bad as they are going to get. But don't forget, it has already begun. But some retailers will increase their prices next month, or early next year. Some companies have purchased in advance so they have stock they can sell right now without increasing the price.

They say coffee is going up in price. But the last time I bought coffee it was still cheap. So I stocked up. The next time I go to buy coffee it's going to be much more expensive. Same for you.
