Uh, guy, we've been over this.

You contribute 6% of your salary to Social Security. You will get all that back if you retire at 65 and live to be 72.

Medicare, you contribute 1% of your salary to. You get all that back after one serious illness.

Unemployment benefits- you don't pay into those at all, your employer does. If you are off for more than six weeks, you use up every thing your employer put in over the last four years on your behalf.

Veteran's benefits.. Like the idea in principle, but in reality, most of my service, I sat behind a desk and processed paperwork. Kind of the same thing I am doing now. Why should I get lifetime benefits for that?

White people are fine with "Welfare" as long as they are getting it and you call it an "entitlement".

A better argument would be government subsidies, taxpayer money given to corporations so billionaires stock portfolios get richer. Instead of giving taxpayer cash the government should buy stock for a Sovereign Fund so taxpayers get some equity for their tax dollars.

Not exactly. Unemployment benefits are paid for by employers, who have to set a certain amount aside for each person they have on headcount.

Should point out m ost people on assistance only spend a short time on assistance. The rest of the time, they are paying taxes as well.

Sure.Some people get back a lot more than they give from those programs.And some people die young and get nothing. That's the system that was implemented, and there is no serious movement to get rid of it.So I guess that's what we more or less agree to.

Point is that you seem to think that only white people like the welfare that requires work and contribution, while people of color only like welfare, that is completely free for nothing.

To disabuse yourself of that racist idea, you need only go to a walmart at five or six in the morning. There you will see white people, usually very obese white people, writing the Walmart scooter's and
filling shopping carts with food they buy with food stamps and commiserating about their social security disability checks not growing quick enough.

when I started seeing these welfare rats at walmart at dawn, I wondered why they would get up so early. It finally "dawned" on me that they did not get up early.They stayed up that late.
