Other nations prove that spending more does not equate to better educational outcomes. Do you deny that reality?

Will the homeless disappear if you stop caring for them?

How are we caring for them when we don't try to address the root cause most of them are on the streets in the first place?

Will college become more accessible if you stop helping students attend?

Most times the government claims it's going to reduce the cost of something, that cost goes up. Rent control? You might get a place, but it's a dump. Free food? Sure, one brand that runs out before you get to the head of the line and are told to try again tomorrow. With education, we have universities sitting on massive piles of cash and charging obscene tuition rates because they know the student won't be footing the bill, until it's too late and they have loans they can never pay off.

While I agree about race-based quotas since it institutionalizes racism, I'm in a quandary as how to best correct past wrongs. Harming more qualified applicants in favor of lesser qualified ones is also wrong. We need a better solution.

Also note that Affirmative Action has been around for over 60 years. That covers the Boomers, the Gen Xers, Millennials, Gen Y and Gen Z. When will it end? How can we get rid of racism if the government itself it racist through quotas and other special categories?
