Where and when? If you couldn't be born in the country and time you were born in - when and where would you want to be born (and why)?

For most, the question you pose is a now or then proposition.
I have had a glimpse into two previous incarnations in my current one. One would think that would be the best of both or thrice worlds. But, it does not work that way, as it is only a glimpse.
