If either major political party had chosen a decent Presidential candidate we wouldn't be faced with this problem right now

Look to past history. 1992 and 1996 had Perot not run, we might not have gotten stuck with Clintoon.
That's a good argument for Ranked Choice Voting. But it won't convince me to knowingly vote for a bad candidate. That's foolish.

RCP guarantees nobody but far Left candidates in perpetuity.
LOL - I guess you meant RCV. And I guess that's what your party has told you. But it isn't true. Ranked Choice Voting would have prevented Clinton's election.

The system is broken that presents us a choice between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Neither candidate should be President. I will vote for Trump because the Democrats are making this election about abortion. They seem to think everyone's on board for killing children, not even believing anyone's against it. So, I'll vote for Trump.
The problem is we don't get great candidates because great candidates don't want to run for a thankless job where half the country will be at your throat 24/7.

And, oh, by the way, you probably don't realize that the voters voted for the candidates they wanted (oops, guess that wasn't the case with Harris). Why are you against the voters choosing? Party's don't choose their candidates. Candidates decide to run and the voters vote for them, except in Kamala Harris's case.

I can't go along with the equivalence you present.

Trump, for better or worse, was and is the choice of Republican voters. Harris was chosen by the Democratic Party, after it forced who Democrat voters did choose out.

You clearly don't know how RCV works. If they'd used it '92, Bush would have won, rather than Clinton.
Sure I do. RCV guarantees that Conservatives never win. Like I said, had Perot not run, we would not have been stuck with eight long years' worth of Clintoon. Thank G-d Newt managed to yank the House from the 40 year Democrat stranglehold in 1994.

Who told you that??

And like I said, if we'd used RCV, Bush would have won regardless of what Perot did. No Bill. No Hillary. Do you think I'm lying?? It doesn't favor one party or the other. It just gets rid of the spoiler effect.

Dems chose a decent Presidential candidate. Screw your bothsiderism. You're voting for Trump because you're just like him.

No. They didn't. They concluded that they couldn't beat Trump, and threw a bone to the DEI crowd with Harris. They're rolling the dice on the hope that we can survive another round of Trump and they'll swoop in to "save" us four years from now.

Nope. Biden/Harris was a package. Harris is the right candidate.

The right candidate for what?

If Dems really think Trump is a threat, why didn't they replace Biden with a centrist who could have wiped the floor with Trump?

The right candidate to beat Trump.
Why didn't you guys run Haley? At least she's sane, doesn't have dementia like Trump.
