We find bacteria in the most extreme environments on earth so that type of life may be abundant through out the Universe, but intelligent life is likely very rare. There is also the possibility that we may be the first or the only planet that hasn't destroyed itself yet. There is a theory called the Great Barrier that is interesting and also the Fermi Paradox. I believe the Drake Equation is an overly optimistic bunch of garbage. We should have heard their radio transmissions by now.
If you watch the history channel, you will learn alot about life from other planets.
Don’t trust anything from a major network. They have an agenda. In fact, there’s an intentional effort to hide actual truth.
The video does bring up an interesting topic, but it wasn’t aliens. It was something even more interesting than that, iyam.
Again same premise Light is a wave these waves get absorbed and distorted over distances. Trillions of natural light sources and radio wave transmission sources pretty difficult to determine which are intelegently made.. We have recorded radio transmissions that were interesting but far from a smoking gun. They are talking about sending high powered lazer transmissions to attract alliens, I how ever think this is likely a stupid move. If there are intellegent alliens out there we are likely better off not letting them know where we are. What about a laser beam transmission?Radio signals dissipate at immense distances
We should have heard their radio transmissions by now.
Who says they use radio? We should have heard their radio transmissions by now.
Name callingSo I'm arrogant just to ask the question? We should have heard their radio transmissions by now.
Oh the arrogance to think that a billion planets out there is anything but a drop in the ocean compared to the infinite expanse of space.
Oh the arrogance to think that our tiny eye-blink of time here on the Earth to detect them is anything compared to the roughly 14 billion year age of the universe.
Oh the arrogance to think that those out there who we might be interested in capable of true hyper-luminal space travel would even bother with crude radio waves.
Well, **** you too.
That does not follow at all from your thread title. "Billions" would mean only one per 100+ galaxies. There is no good reason to think we dedinitely would have picked up radio transmissions leaked into space by such a society. We should have heard their radio transmissions by now.
Actually, that's not necessarily true. An expanding universe -- particularly one in which the expansion is speeding up, as it is on our universe -- may actually make it less likely, over time, that two sentient species ever discover each other. Eventually we won't be able to observe any galaxies but our own. With the massive expanse of the cosmos and the billions (trillions?) of galaxies, the law of averages would eventually catch up.There is no intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. The chances that some other planet would have all the required conditions for life are so remote as to be non-existent.
I think maybe you need to revisit what the "U" stands for in "UFO".There is life out there. I've seen the UFO's to prove it.
It means unidentified. There is life out there and they visit earth.I think maybe you need to revisit what the "U" stands for in "UFO".There is life out there. I've seen the UFO's to prove it.
You seem to have identified them.It means unidentified. There is life out there and they visit earth.I think maybe you need to revisit what the "U" stands for in "UFO".There is life out there. I've seen the UFO's to prove it.
No I havent identified them. I have no clue what kind of life they are. I just know what I have seen on 2 different occasions. Once as a child and once with 4 of my fellow military buddies. You seem to have identified them.It means unidentified. There is life out there and they visit earth.I think maybe you need to revisit what the "U" stands for in "UFO".There is life out there. I've seen the UFO's to prove it.
That's quite an extraordinary claim.
You absolutely have identified them as alien spacecraft. I'm not sure you are capable of an honest discussion on this topic. No I havent identified them.
Yeah but not sure what kind of aliens so no I havent got an ID on them. They could be from Mars or a whole nother galaxy. I didnt get to talk to them. I just saw what I perceived to be ships on 2 different occasions. You absolutely have identified them as alien spacecraft. I'm not sure you are capable of an honest discussion on this topic. No I havent identified them.
You identified the object as an alien craft. Let's try this again:Yeah but not sure what kind of aliens so no I havent got an ID on them.
I just saw what I perceived to be ships on 2 different occasions.
My identification is not official. Therefore its still unidentified. Let me know when the Pentagon confirms my sighting. You identified the object as an alien craft. Let's try this again:Yeah but not sure what kind of aliens so no I havent got an ID on them.
"UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT"
I just saw what I perceived to be ships on 2 different occasions.
That's a pretty poor reason to believe aliens visited Earth.
If there was 1 chance in a trillion of an Advanced society, what is the chance that they still use radio or use radio during a time period in which we would pick them up millions of years after the signal was created? You think they visit a trillion planets? That's what I think. There is no intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. The chances that some other planet would have all the required conditions for life are so remote as to be non-existent.
Because if the chance of sentient life was even 1 chance in 1 trillion, there would still be numerous advanced civilizations in the universe, and if there were, they would have explored Earth by now.
