I read that the "pittance" was 450 million last year. Lets face it, those immigrants didn't walk thousands of miles to the border. When the funding is gone, they will stop.

Um, okay. 450 million in various services the government wants from the Church (not just helping with poverty relief in immigrant communities.)

The Catholic Church has an operating budget of $100 billion dollars in the US.

So, yeah, you are threatening them with 0.45 of their operating budget vs. what God and the Pope are telling them Jesus would want them to do.

Or they'll just keep coming back on their own. If the worst thing you can threaten them with is sending them back to Mexico (because their own countries won't take them) then you've set yourself up for failure.

Until you address the underlying problems, they will keep coming. Walls are meaningless for people who cross thousands of miles of desert, jungles and mountains to get here.

Most countries are taking back their citizens. Other countries have said they would accept non citizen deportees. After the Ukrainian dust up is settled we could pay Russia to take the deportees and keep them in Siberia.

I'm not threatening them, no one is. I simply do not want our tax money being spent to import illegals.
