An army searches for weapons and large amounts of cash/gold used to fund attacks in order to seize them and prevent their use on the civilians that army is obligated to protect. If you are a civilian you won't have these things in your home. The fact that so many civilian homes have caches of weapons and cash/gold is proof of the widespread complicity of the population of Gaza.
