The OP wasn’t a model of clarity.

But when a Mod advises you that you’ve either transgressed a rule OR that your thread has been deleted or moved, the mod is anonymous. So you don’t get the message with a name associated. You get the question mark icon. It’s anonymous.

I've grown attached to this as their new icon, thanks to another posters suggestion. I will always refer to these anonymous mods as "Q"

Like I said. Busybody. What ISNT appropriate is your derailing a thread, picking fights in a thread that wasn't directed to you, didn't concern you, and requires no one to explain anything to you.
