I would donate $1 million (with help) to get an elementary school named after Donald Trump.

Between 4 and 6 a.m., I do my best thinking. Here is what I cooked up this morning:

If a few things happen, a great argument can be made that Donald Trump is the greatest president in American history. I would say he's a shoo-in if the economy explodes as he has predicted, if he solves the Ukraine War, and if he simmers things down in the Middle East (whcih he already has).

Given this lofty status, it is unconscionable that a public school has not been named for President Trump. I wonder if I would have a chance to change that. Here's how it could play out:

In extreme Southwest Virginia, the counties of Lee, Dickinson, Russell. Scott, Wise, Buchanan, Smyth. Tazewell, Grayson, Bland, and Washington all voted for President Trump in excess of 80%. These are poor counties. A number of them have dilapidated school buildings. Per wiki AI, he cost of building a new elementary school ranges from $15 to $25 million, probably closer to the $15 million in those areas. Several of those counties may well be forced to upgrade in the next few years. If i could come in with a $1 million donation (soliciting donations to help) in exchange for their naming the new school after Donald Trump, I might consider doing it. I think you could get that raise that kind of money easily with a national campaign. Perhaps you could raise the entire $15 million. And as I said, we are dealing with a populus with which Trump is immensely popular. There are numerous Trump stores sprinkled throughout Southwest Virginia. You'd find the friendliest school boards as Shendandoah County was able to do when they voted 5-1 to become the first to change schools' names BACK to their pre-George Floyd Civil War names.

What a great national story this would be! Sure to put one of those counties on the map. And making a huge statement in a blue state! Maybe get some FOX News exposure. Maybe even a visit at the ribbon cutting from the Great Man himself. There would be an economic boost from that ceremony alone. And we all know the importance of words and symbolism and branding. Once the ice is broken, maybe other districts would gain the courage to name schools after this iconic figure. What a great feeling to know we helped start it.

Thoughts?

Oh, sure. Lots of leftwing school boards using government money can get this done. Plenty of ghetto schools named for incompetent Democrats. It's meaningless. But for an icon like Trump in a blue state, no less. This would be huge. And I predict it would be repeated in other states.

If you think having a name on a school building is a big deal, go raise your money. I have better way to spend my money but go for it.

The PR and branding aspect of this would be huge, particularly if it started a trend. Changing hearts and minds. That's the name of the game. The leftwing media has created this cartoon version of Trump. Naming schools after the great man would neutralize it.

The beauty of this is grass-roots individuals would fund this. Unlike the leftwing government funding for tributes to the many evil/incompetent leftwingers. This one would stand for something great. The more I talk about it, the more excited I get.

Only fools name their school after those two warmongering corporatist assholes.

Won't happen because of leftwing hatred and extremism that makes a target of anything MAGA, anything Trump, anything good for America and Americans. An elementary school named after President Trump would be a magnet for every leftwing nutjob intent on doing violence.

I think it could happen if local school boards voted in by Trump supporters are making the decisions. As I said, Shenandoah County pulled it off, renaming their schools after Civil War generals.

The good folks of Russell County don't buy your lying characterization, and they're the ones making the call. Love it!

Okay, go do it, not my idea of wise spending but it isn’t my time, effort or money. Hope things go well.

Get Mexico to pay for it.

I've got an idea for the sport complex at Trump Elementary:
